Chapter 11
(He must not have a weakness)
She entered the king’s quarters. He asked her to come. She entered with Kayla and Jade.
She saw him writing scrolls. She curtsied and her maids bow.
“Your majesty”
He stood up, his hand intertwined behind him. He walk towards his bed and sat down. He gestured for her to sit beside him. She walked towards him and sat down.
“I hope you like it around here?”, he asked her.
A smile form on her li-ps remembering the large court yard she saw earlier.
” Yes, your majesty”, then she stood up excitedly.
“I would like it if you can go with me to visit some places in the palace tomorrow! What do you think?”, she asked. “Is there any fountain around? I love playing with water!”, she said stomping her feet in excitement.
Kayla faked a sneeze and Princess Cheryl came back to her princess self.
She bits her li-ps and bow.
” I’m sorry my king”, she said.
“Sit”, was the only thing he said and she sat down again.
Just a command and she dared not go against him. This man has a very strong aura.
” You look like an extroverted person. My sister Amelia is like you”, he said.
“Really? Is she here in the palace?”, she asked.
” No. She’s married”, he replied.
She sigh.
“Here I am already thinking I’ve found myself a playmate”, She expressed.
” So what do you know how to do?”, he asked her.
“Playing, dancing, singing and cooking. I can even play musical instruments well. Be it harp, flute or violin. I can use the trumpet well too. I knew little about sword. I can swim and I love horse racing. I’m also good at fishing. I can sew and make embroidery too. I can knit too. My combat skill is quite good too. Mention it, except archery”.
” You will be queen and you don’t know archery?”, he asked her.
She close her eyes.
“I should have learnt but I never thought U could ever be queen. I thought only Shirley can be queen”, she said.
” Shirley? Is that your twin sister?”, he asked.
Cheryl nodded.
“Yes”
Then he smiled and drew her closer.
“Don’t be sad. I will teach you and you will know it. You just nee-d to do something”, he said.
” What?”, Cheryl asked.
“Be my Queen”, he told her.
She looked up at him blus-hing.
Then she yawned.
She is sleepy again.
” Your majesty, I’m going to bed now”, she said.
He did not insist.
“Okay. I will take you around the palace tomorrow”, he said.
She smiled and stood up. She then curtsied.
“Have a good night sleep my King”, and she walked out gracefully.
Immediately she walked out, the king closed his eyes. He did a lot of unusual things that night.
This lady arrived today and he is already doing silly things.
Firstly she almost made him do something he had not done in a while, something duty snatched from him.
He even conversed freely with her. Something that has not happened for the past fifteen years.
He even felt sad when he saw her disappointed expression.
And he, King Alexander even smiled.
Something only women do!
He even asked her to be his queen instead of queen of Shelagh.
And most importantly, he finds comfort in her presence. When she said she is going to bed, he felt like holding unto her and telling her not to go. He even agreed to sight see with her.
He almost said he missed Amelia when talking to her. That must not happen. Only females miss people.
Talking about princess Amelia, he missed her so much.

A month after their father died. He just came out of his lesson with a royal teacher when he saw her.
“Sister where to?”, he asked
She was smiling happily as usual.
” I’m going swimming with some other kids. Will you like to…”
His expression turned dark. Be is king. He can’t play with little kids. His duty is to study all day long and learn to carry the burden if the kingdom.
Amelia realize this and couldn’t invite him anymore. She was put in an awkward position. She pitied the boy she is two years older than.
“I’m off”, she said and ran off.
King Alexander had been avoiding his sister since then. Though princess Amelia is not easily avoided. The more he tried to push her away. The mote she gets closer to him.

No one will be his weakness. He will make sure of that.

~The perfect girl~
Princess Cheryl enjoyed her stay in Shelagh. She helped tye king in writing scrolls and she read to him. She had also sang to him. She even make snacks for him.
After he took a bite of the snack she asked.
“How is it?”,
” Superb”, the big man said.
She laughed.
The man raise his brows and make an expression as if asking ‘why are you laughing?’
“You look cute right now”, she said.
The man scoffed and lic-ked his li-ps. He can’t believe this lady just called him cute.
She got him reeling.
Cheryl blus-hed when she saw him lic-king his li-ps.
‘So cute!”
She had fallen in love with him. She love being with him. Just one week and She is head over heels with him. He sure had cast a spell on her.
She served him in a lot of ways but never for once did she serve him on bed. To be sincere, king Alexander is lively but only when they are together__Alone.
And she had never failed to notice the king’s slave Owen.

Shirley’s fuming. They just got a letter from her parents that Cheryl is getting married.
And to king Alexander of Shelagh of all men around. This is too much. How can Cheryl became a Queen before her. Not just a Queen but a queen to a mighty kingdom.
Even King Lance is still un-der him.Shirley didn’t want that. Cheryl can’t be Queen. She’s lacking behind in many ways. She can’t do a lot of things.
“Only me is perfect”, Shirley said, her eyes flic-kering.
Even though she is beautiful, she is no match to her. She must attend that wedding and do all she can do…..
” wait for me, Cheryl. I will show you that you will always be the second choice!”

“My princess”, Jade squealed as she entered the chamber. ” A lot of guests are around. The polly inn is filled as well as king special inn is filled as well as king special inn”
Princess Cheryl smiled.
It seems her wedding is gonna be at blast.
“Your highness the king if Shelagh and his mum are around. They are spending the night in the summer palace”, Kayla said.
Princess Cheryl nods.
” Thanks for the info”, she close her eyes. “Is shirley around”, She asked.
” Yeah, with her husband. They are in the palace”, Jade replied.
“Your Highness. A message from Mistress Karen”, One of her guards announced.
” Come in”
The maid came in.
“Her highness wants you to come and eat dinner with your sister, your highness”, She announced.
” Coming “, Cheryl replied.

Shirley sm-irks when Cheryl walks into the dining hall majestically. She bowed in greeting as she scanned the room.there are six people in the room her father, his queen, her mother, Shirley, prince Nathan and princess pamela.Cheryl sat down.
” you look prettier sister “, shirley began Cheryl ignored her and started eating she paid attention to her table manners this time around after all she’s going to be queen
” let’s talk latter”, shirley said trying to break out of the awkwardness Cheryl concentrated on her food.
“Cheryl darling, are you aware that your inlaws are around they came earlier to greet the king her mother said” .
Shirley thought she heard wrongly
‘Darling?’ What’s k? Her mother had never used sweet words when addressing Cheryl is because she is going to be queen of Shelagh the main topic when they gathered is always about her, Shirley.the only time they about cheryl is when she did something wrong and they want to scold her Shirley was jealous she has to do something. Her parent love is for her alone just her!
‘Don’t worry Cheryl I will bring you down you are not worthy to be queen I am the perfect girl’.
