Stephanie stared at Jayce with nothing but shock in her eyes. Jayce looked at her and immediately frowned.
“Baby sis? What are you doing with that son of an an*mal?” Jayce said.
Stephanie just stared at him in shock. She couldn’t believe her eyes right now. Her real brother, her role model is the one causing all these ruckus.
“Why?” She asked.
Jayce scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“Why? Because that’s our nature…” Jayce said.
“Think it’s time to tell you the real truth sis” Jayce muttered and smi-rked.
“Well for starters you know that you aren’t a Watterson right? Well what you don’t know is that you’re a Madison… Yeah, our real family name is Madison. It turns out that the Madison is a group of syndicates that Raymond’s parents were always after to destroy. One day there was a clash between the two families… Many people perished including our real parents. I was there, carrying you in my arms. I watched as Raymond’s father shot down our mother and father right in front of me… That day I was so heartbroken. Because of Raymond’s family we became orphans.. Fortunately, luck shined on us and we were adopted by the Watterson. I got to find out that Raymond’s parent díed in the fight but the children survived. On that day, I vowed that I’ll avenged our family’s déath by ruining the lives of their kids…” Jayce narrated, clenching his fists.
Stephanie look at Raymond with wide eyes…
“Is… Is it true? Did you know about it?.” Stephanie asked.
Raymond nodded with his eyes on Jayce.
“I see why you’re so obsessed with me… But did you have to drag Aurora into this?” Raymond asked.
“Of course! She made you happy and my main goal was ruining your life!!” Jayce smiled.
Raymond chuckled dryly.
“Don’t you see how karma is a bi-tch ? You kílled Aurora yes, i was heartbroken but in the long run I met Scarlett and we fell in love with each other.. I took your undying love from you” Raymond said mockingly.
Jayce glared at Raymond in anger. He raised his gun to Raymond.. Raymond did the same.
All the men of Jayce and Raymond raised their guns too to each other. Stephanie stood in between looking at them in shock.
“Steph….my little sister. Come to me, let’s build back the empire our real parents left for us” Jayce said.
Stephanie looked at Jayce and then at Raymond.
‘”Do what you want to do” Raymond muttered.
Stephanie looked back at Jayce.
“I’m sorry Jayce… But my only family is the Watterson and no one else” Stephanie muttered.
She immediately ran and hid herself. Almost immediately, gunshots filled the area.
Stephanie covered her ears ti-ghtly.

The Watterson**
The whole family stared at Angelo’s laptop in shock. They just went throu-ghthe flash drive Raymond gave him and now they knew everything.
“No… Not my son. It can’t be him…” Julia muttered in shock.
What followed was a loud thud on the ground. They all turned to see Julia had pas-sed out on the floor.
“Julia!!”
“Mom!!”

Scarlett rushed to the window when she began hearing gunshots.
“No…” She muttered as she watched the feud which was going on downstairs.
“I nee-d to do something” She thought.
She looked round the room and saw a vase lying nearby. She took it and shattered it on the ground then quickly laid down beside the shattered pieces.
The guard who was guarding her room immediately opened the door and rushed in. He met her laying on the ground.
“Hey!” He said and crouched to her level to check her vitals.
Scarlett discreetly took a hold of the shattered pieces and sunk the piece on the man’s ne-ck, block his mouth with her other hand.
“Mmmmmm….” The man’s muffled scream came out as he slowly went down
Scarlett threw the broken piece away and looked at her hand. She just kílled a person!!
The broken piece even wounded her hand but that was less of her concern at the moment.
She removed the man’s hoodie and pa-nts. It was baggy on her but she had no choice. She tied her hair and wore the cap of the hoodie before walking out of the room.

Raymond hit behind a pillar and shot down one of Jayce’s men. He peeped out, looking for Jayce and that’s when he saw him climbing up the stairs of the building..
He immediately followed behind..

Scarlett was about to step out of the building but took a step back when a bullet flew above her head.
“What the h*ck!!” She thought.
Her eyes caught Jayce climbing the stairs quickly to the rooftop. She took a step forward and began following him when suddenly she felt something on her back.
She immediately raised her hand up in the air.
“Where is Scarlett?” Raymond spoke, preparing to shoot.
Scarlett immediately recognized his voice so she slowly turned. Raymond’s face immediately soften.
“Babe” He hu-gged her ti-ghtly.
“My love” Scarlett hu-gged him back..
“I was so scared.. I thought he did something bad to you” Raymond muttered..
“He didn’t” Scarlett said as they broke the hu-g.
Raymond brou-ght out a spare gun from his pocket and handed it to her.
“I never wanted you to use this but I have no choice.. Take this and leave throu-ghthat way, I already cleared the area so it’s safe” Raymond said.
“But I don’t want to leave you…” Scarlett said.
“You have to. This problem is between me and your brother not you, I promised to everyone that I’ll keep you safe. Besides your sister is out there, go protect her.” Raymond said.
Scarlett just looked at him, she was really scared to leave him but she had no choice.
Raymond pulled her closer and gave her a de-ep ki-ss before releasing her.
“I love you” He muttered and released her.
He turned and went after Jayce.. Scarlett turned and left the opposite way.
As Raymond said, he really cleared the area. She could see corpse of the enemies laying around.
She got out and hid, looking for Stephanie and that’s where she saw her hiding with Raymond’s men protecting her.
“Steph!” She exclaimed and rusbed to her.
His men immediately pointed their guns at her since she was still disguised. She immediately removed her hoodie.
“Ma’am” They said lowering her gun.
“Sis!” Stephanie rushed to her and they hu-gged.
By that time, the gunning had lowered down since it was just few men of Jayce who were alive…
“Where’s Raymond?” Stephanie asked.
“He went after Jayce” Scarlett replied.
“No!, I don’t want him to kíll Jayce… He’s my brother” Stephanie muttered and stood up. She snatched Scarlett’s gun from her…
She ran in the building.
“No Steph!!” Scarlett went after her.
“Ma’am!” The guards went after them…

“It ends here Jayce… To he honest, I don’t want to kíll you… Just own up and-”
Jayce bursted out in boisterous laughters.
“Own up and go to jail? Nah, I’ll pas-s” Jayce laughed.
“You leave me with no choice then.” Raymond said.
They began shooting at each other. Raymond jumped behind a wall and hid behind it. He peeped out and shot at Jayce who was hiding too.
Raymond ran out of his hiding shooting at Jayce while running. Jayce kept ducking at each of his shots. He shot back but Raymond dodged it…
Raymond aimed his gun at him and pulled the trigger but the bullet was finished..
“Sh*t!!” Jayce cursed as his bullets got finished too.
They looked at each other and threw their guns down then charged at each other.
Jayce made punch Raymond on the stomach but he dodged it. He grabbed Jayce’s arm and fli-pped him across his back.
Jayce landed on the floor. Raymond bent Jayce’s arm he was holding and it made a “crack” sound.
“Argh!!!” Jayce screamed out in pains.
He kicked Raymond on the calf and he Gr0-ned, falling down. Jayce pulled out a knife from his pocket and began charging at Raymond with one arm since the other one was broken.
Raymond skillfully dodged each and every one of his attacks. He held Jayce’s hand and hit it, making him drop down the knife.
Raymond picked the knife and went straight to Jayce’s che-st but….
“No!!”
Raymond stopped just few inches away from his che-st. He turned back to see Stephanie.
Stephanie ran to them in tears and came in between them..
“Please don’t kíll Jayce… de-ep down, I know hes good.. Just that he got corrupted by our real parents… Please” Stephanie cried..
“If you kíll him,, I’ll also kíll myself” Stephanie aimed the gun on her head.
“No!!” Scarlett exclaimed.
Jayce took the opportunity that Raymond was distracted. He grabbed the gun from Stephanie and pushed her aside then swiftly shot at Raymond twice..
“Argh!!!”
“Raymond!!! No!!!” Scarlett screamed in horror and rushed to Raymond.
Raymond fell in her arms as blood gushed out of his stomach..
“Raymond…” Scarlett teared up, ru-b-bing his cheek.
“Since you love him that much… Just follow him” Jayce muttered and aimed at Scarlett.
“No!!!” Stephanie said and immediately hu-gged him.
They both gasped at the same time..

They both gasped at the same time…
Blood slowly gushed out of Jayce’s mouth. Stephanie plunged the knife de-eper into his stomach..
“I’m sorry big brother…” Stephanie said in tears.
Jayce looked at her with wide eyes. He slowly fell on the ground with the knife still stuck on his tummy.
Stephanie raised his head and placed it on her thigh, ru-b-bing his cheek as tears streamed down her cheek..
“Steph… Stephanie… Sis” Jayce stuttered..
“You’ve suffered a lot big brother… It must have really been heartbreaking watching our parents díe…” Stephanie cried..
Jayce smiled weakly and raised his hand to her cheek.
“I love you sis… And tell Scarlett…that I’m sorry… and I love her too,…her and our family…” Jayce said and coughed out blood.
“I’m happy you didn’t turn out to be like me” he said weakly.
“I love you too brother” Stephanie said and ki-ssed his forehead.
Jayce smiled and closed his eyes. His hands dropped down to his side.
Stephanie closed her eyes as she teared up loudly. Her body shook in tears as she hu-gged his body…
“Love… Hang in there, help is coming…” Scarlett cried as she ru-bbed Raymond’s cheek.
Raymond smiled and ru-bbed her cheek..
“If I don’t make it alive, I’m happy I fulfilled my promise… You didnt get hurt” Raymond smiled weakly.
“No,, you’ll make it… We nee-d you Raymond” Scarlett said.
Soon the sound of the ambulance was heard.. Raymond coughed as more blood oozed out of his wound..
He slowly closed his eyes..
“Love? Love!! Love no!! Raymond!! Ray!!” Scarlett screamed.
Raymond’s men took her away from him as they carried him down.. Jayce’s body was also taken away..
“Raymond!!!” Scarlett screamed in tears.
Stephanie just came and hu-gged her, ru-b-bing her back. She hu-gged her bag as they both cried in each other’s arms.

The Kendall’s**
“No!! He can’t be déath…” Tony said in shock as she watched the news.
“I nee-d to get out of here”
She immediately stood up from her seat and went to her room. She packed all the necessary things in a hu-ge suitcase which she dragged downstairs.
Suddenly the door of her house was kicked open and four police men came in. They pointed their guns at Tony..
Tara and Jackson came in afterwards..
“You’re un-der arrest for as-sociating with Jayce Watterson aka the masked man… You have the right to remain quiet and if you don’t have a lawyer, the law will provide one for you” The cop said as they handcuffed her.
“What? Tara? You ratted out on me?” Tony said when she saw Tara.
“It’s for your own good sis” Tara said sadly.
Well immediately they heard the news, Tara and Jackson headed to the police station and Tara told them all what she knew
“No?!! Let me go!! How could you Tara?? After all what I did for you… I hate you!!! Dàmn you!!” She ranted as she was being dragged out of the house.
Tara immediately bursted into fits of tears. Jackson sighed and pulled her in for a warm hu-g..
“Its okay…” He comforted her.
“My sister hàtes me…” Tara cried.
“You did what was right… It’s alright” Jackson said soothingly..

Ingrid’s Hospital**
Scarlett sat down on a seat, de-ep in thoughts. She ru-bbed her tummy as she fought back her tears.
“Scar…” A voice called.
Scarlett looked up to see it was Angelo and her family.
“Bro..” Scarlett teared up and rushed to hu-g him.
“We heard about everything.. Don’t worry, he’ll be fine.” Angelo ru-bbed her back..
Nathan went to Stephanie and hu-gged her ti-ghtly. He ki-ssed her forehead afterwards.
“It was for the better love,,” Nathan muttered and Stephanie nodded..
Julia just stood aside, crying silently. Arnold came to her
“My love, is it a crime to be kind.. Was it a crime that we adopted Jayce and Stephanie in the first place?” Julia asked.
“Don’t say that my love. Everything happens for a reason..” Arnold said and ki-ssed her forehead.
Few moments later, the doctor came out of operating room. Scarlett immediately stood up..
“Doc… How’s he fairing?” She asked.
“Well if you brou-ght him here just few minutes late, we could have lost him. Thankfully, the bullets were extracted from his body and he’s currently being transfused with blood since he lost so much” The doctor said.
Scarlett fell back on her seat in relief.. The others looked really relieved too..
“Thank goodness”
“Can we see him?” Scarlett asked but the doctor shook his head.
“He nee-ds to rest. You can see him when he wakes up” He said.
“Okay doc. Thank you so much…”
“Now, can you go back home and freshen up…” Angelo asked her.
Scarlett nodded and left with Stephanie..

Hours Later**
Raymond’s eyes flew open and he gasped loudly. He found himself staring at the white ceiling..
“Where I’m I?” He whispered and made to sit up but pain gripped him so he laid back down.
He looked to his side and smiled when he saw Scarlett. She placed her head on the bed as she slept soundly.
“I’m alive” He muttered and brou-ght his hands to Scarlett’s head, he began patting it while smiling fondly.
Looks like they were in the middle of the night…
He didn’t sleep a wink during the night. What he did was stro-king Scarlett’s hair as he watched her sleep.
Morning**
Scarlett slowly opened her eyes and sat up, ru-b-bing her eyes as she yawned. She looked at Raymond and sighed when she saw he was unconscious.
Scarlett took his hand and ki-ssed it.
“Wake up already love… I and the baby nee-d you” She pouted and ki-ssed his hand again.
“Baby?” Raymond’s eyes immediately flew open.
“Love!!” Scarlett said shockingly but happily.
“You’re awake!!” She smiled so wide..
“Did you say baby? Which baby?” Raymond asked.
Scarlett smiled and took his hand then ki-ssed it again.
“Yeah… I was waiting to the perfect time to tell you that but guess the surprise is ruined” Scarlett said and took his hand and placed it on her stomach..
“There’s a cute baby or babies living in here… Three weeks old” Scarlett said.
Raymond stared at her in shock, feeling speechless.
“I was feeling not well last week so I went for some tests and I was tested positive for pregnancy” Scarlett said..
“Wait… You aren’t kidding?” Raymond said and Scarlett.
“Oh Fu-ck!!!” He exclaimed and made to sit up again but pain gripped him.
“Careful…” Scarlett said and helped him sit up.
“You… You are pregnant? There’s a life living in there?” Raymond pointed at her tummy.
“Yeah” Scarlett chuckled.
Raymond pulled her in for a hu-g. He made her sit on his thigh..
“Careful… You’re wounded” Scarlett chuckled..
He broke the hu-g and cu-p-ped her cheek, ki-ssing her face all round.
“Raymond…” Scarlett laughed..
“Thank you… Thank you my love… Thank you!!” Raymond said and ki-ssed her forehead.
Scarlett smiled widely.. She’s never seen him this happy before and it also made her happy.
“I promise as soon as I get out of this hospital I’ll pet you like a baby. I’ll be the best father of the world… I promise” Raymond said, smiling widely.
Scarlett cu-p-ped his cheek
“I know you will…” She smiled.
“Finally all the nights I spent Fu-cking you wasn’t in vain. I thought my wai-st will bend but I pushed forward making sure I hit that wo-mb so that…”
“Ray!! Gosh!!” Scarlett his his stomach.
“Ouch…”
“Sorry… But you deserve it” Scarlett said.
Raymond smiled and ru-bbed her cheek.
“I love you” He said affectionately.
“I love you too” She replied.
She closed her eyes as their li-ps met in the sweetest way.
The door to their ward opened and Angelo smiled at what he saw.
“You see I told you that they will be ki-ssing” Angelo said to Melody who laughed lightly.
“Bro, you just escaped from the churns of déath.. Calm down” Nathan laughed.
Raymond broke the ki-ss and faced him..
“I didn’t ki-ss those li-ps for like more than 5 hours do you know how it feels?” Raymond frowned.
Scarlett got down his thigh..
“Careful… Don’t hurt the baby” Raymond said.
“I’m fine… Besides you’re the one hurt here” Scarlett chuckled..
“Baby? Is it what I’m thinking?” Stephanie said already smiling.
“Yeah.. We’re expecting a baby soon” Raymond said.
“Gosh!!” Stephanie exclaimed happily..
“You seem more happy today” Scarlett said.
“Well she just nee-ded some good Fu-cking to be back on her feet” Nathan said.
“Nathan!!” Stephanie said.
The rest laughed..
“Thank goodness mom and dad didnt come with us… Hearing these unholy words would have traumatized them” Angelo said and intertwined his hands with Melody’s.
“Says the non V¡rgin boy. He tasted p**sy and he thinks he’s a man… You’re still our baby bro” Scarlett smi-rked.
They began mocking him..
“What did I ever do to you guys…” Angelo said loudly.
