DANGEROUS LOVE
EPISODE 9
Later that day Aria and JoJo return back from lecture, the look they met on the face of Michael and Iris aid it all that something wasn’t right.
JOJO
what’s up guys? you look like people who have not only seen a ghost today but have almost hu-gged one.
MICHAEL
I know you both ain’t going to believe this but what we saw today was much more bigger than a ghost.
ARIA
really? so what did you see, a vampire?
(she joked and JoJo laughed)
Iris took her time to explain everything that happened earlier to them, the room became silent after hearing all Iris was saying.
JoJo got really pissed, he thought he was the only one who something weird was happening to.
JOJO
earlier today I saw a lady staring at me, at first I thought she was just admiring me, you all know girls run after me because of my fine boy face…. but the stare became stronger, she started to shed tear and I wonder what had gone wrong.
MICHAEL
like you said, maybe she has never seen anyone as handsome as you are.
JOJO
(He smi-rked)
very funny, I thought so too until my course mate that we were standing together said he couldn’t see her…. like what the hell was he talking about… I thought he was trying to prank me you know, but anyone I call to go ask the lady why she’s crying look at me like I had gone mad….. so I angrily walked up to her and try to grab her hand for-cefully to prove to them that I haven’t gone mad.
as JoJo speak the rest of them were already more terrify, they know something is definitely wrong with them, but what exactly? and who is going to explain it to them?
ARIA
what happened afterwards?
JOJO
(sadness, fear was written in his eyes)
when I grabbed her hand she was so cold, cold like someone who had just come out from the fridge or something worse… I looked at her face and she had this sadess filled in them…. at that moment I was no longer concern if my course mate were just pranking me…I was curious, I wanted to know more…. I asked what happened, maybe it was about money so I could help…. what she said scared the shit out of me
MICHAEL
god dammit can you just say it already, we are literally dying to hear the end of this story
JOJO
“I see you are the gate way to the afterlife, I’m here to go home” that was what she said to men… I was shocked, I thought the joke was beginning to get funny so I laughed out ha-rd….. tunde that big head in my department came to pull me from behind asking who I was talking with and why I was laughing alone… i told him the lady in front of me is so funny then he gave me this look that says “finally they have gotten this boy” as if he could read my thought he said “Jo have you started taking drugs? because as far as I can see you are the only one standing here” my laugh died down, there was no way the whole school would be playing a prank on me right? I’m not that popular I’m I? she looked at me and smiled “how could they make you the gate way to the afterlife when you don’t even know who and what you are”?
IRIS
Jesus Christ, JoJo if you are just saying this to scare us you better stop it….. because you succeeded.
MICHAEL
Jo what happened afterwards, it was later a prank right?
JOJO
you guys should ask Aria, when she saw me in what state was i?
IRIS
what state was he?
Aria has been quiet since all the weird discussion started, she was too scared go say anything, Michael hit her on the shoulder making her to come back to herself…..
ARIA
huh? what did you say?
IRIS
what’s wrong with you, you look lost
ARIA
I’m fuc-king scared like hell.
MICHAEL
I was asking what state you saw JoJo earlier.
ARIA
I wasn’t sure but I was in front of my department discussing with one of my course mate when JoJo ran to me sweating like he had seen a ghost, he grabbed my hands and said “home, home right now”? I asked him what happened but he didn’t say anything till we got home.
JOJO
this few days weird things have been happening to us and we all know it…. so I don’t see any reason why I would be trying to scare us all.
MICHAEL
how did you escape her if truly she’s a ghost.
JOJO
I didn’t escape her guys, after she told me she’s a dead person, I just ran away… I couldn’t stand and listen to more of it….. I mean just yesterday I was an ordinary guy with the finest finger to operate any system and today I’m a boy who could see ghost? that can only happen in marvel or Nollywood movies.
JoJo was still explaining when the ghost girl appeared beside Iris, JoJo suddenly went numb, he couldn’t move or say anything
GHOST GIRL
you look like you are going to pee in your pa-nts any moment from now….. just allow me to hu-g you and I’m gone.
JOJO
gh…gho….ghost….. she’s here
(he stuttered )
Immediately he mentioned ghost they all got up screaming.
GHOST GIRL
tell them to stop shouting, I’m not here to harm them, not like I can even if I want to…. I’m just here because I want to go home.
JOJO
then go home, why must you involve me in this? please leave us alone.
GHOST GIRL
you think I wish to be here? you think I wish to leave my one year old baby and loving husband to be here? everything happened so fast and the next time I found myself here, wanting to go to a place called the “afterlife…. I will give anything to he with my son and husband again.
(she said crying)
JoJo felt bad, it was wired that he was no longer scared of the ghost and what he felt was now pity….
JOJO
I don’t know what happened and how I’m to help you….but can you tell me what really happened?
The ghost girl walked to Aria’s side and tou-ched her hair, Aria felt someone tou-ched so she screamed.
GHOST GIRL
why are they acting like they can’t see me
JOJO
that’s because they really can’t see you.
GHOST GIRL
(She giggles)
what a shame, how could they make you like this? you have no idea how powerful you four are….. they are just too scared to admit they could see beyond the ordinary.
GHOST GIRL
tell them to kick off their fear…. believe in the reality and that reality is them been able to see dead people because they are special beings… then they will see me
JoJo told them to kict away their fear and believe in the reality, a reality where they could see ghost and tou-ched it…. they all trusted JoJo and did what he asked of them….. and their fear was lifted away, they could see the ghost girl… michael lost his stand immediately he could see her….
Everyone could see the ghost girl except for Aria, she was the only one who couldn’t see the ghost girl.
…….let’s find out why Aria couldn’t see the ghost girl even though she’s one of the four.

EPISODE 10
Iris and Michael became cold as ice as they could now see the ghost girl, they returned back to their seat slowly waiting for the ghost girl to tell them her story.
The ghost girl looked at Aria and giggles
GHOST GIRL
she’s very special yet she doubt herself and hide in her own darkness.
JOJO
who are you referring to?
GHOST GIRL
your friend, Aria you called her right?
JOJO
all of this is very difficult for us to digest, I mean just yesterday I was a guy with the finest fingers von campus who could do anything…. like I’m a king in my own world and today I find out I could see ghost and send them to a place you call the afterlife….cut her some slack if she can’t come out from her fears.
MICHAEL
what do you want from us? why can’t just leave us alone?
(he said scared)
ARIA
michael you can see her?
MICHAEL
of course, she’s seating right there, wait you can’t see her?
GHOST GIRL
(She laughed)
I’m just a dead girl wanting to go to the afterlife, a place I wouldn’t have believe existed if I wasn’t dead.
IRIS
(She spoke for the first time since the ghost girl appeared)
what exactly happened to you? how did you end up dead? and how come or should I say why do you believe our friend is the transportation to the afterlife?
GHOST GIRL
(She giggles)
“transportaction”? I like the sound of that.
JOJO
when I met you earlier you were crying like someone who nee-ded help, but you seem all happy and okay now.
GHOST GIRL
like I said earlier I would give anything to be with my husband and one year baby again…. but it’s not possible is it? you guys can’t even help me to return back to my body because you can’t even active your powers
MICHAEL
you wouldn’t be here if you believed that…. what exactly happened? if you love your husband and son so much then why put them in such misery?
All of a sudden the ghost girl started to cry again, she covered her face with her both hands and cried very well.
ARIA
why can’t I see her? why?
GHOST GIRL
(She stopped crying)
I don’t know much, the little I know is because I’m no longer living in the world but now work from the spirit realm…. they are people who would explain this stuff to you better…. but all I can tell you is…. she’s as blessed as you three, she didn’t inherit her powers but was born with it.
JOJO
so you are telling us we are superhuman?
GHOST GIRL
bingo.
Iris wasn’t interested in all what they were saying, all she cared about was to know why a beautiful and young lady would die just like that.
IRIS
I guess you weren’t a good human after all, that’s why you died and left your husband and kid behind.
GHOST GIRL
Dont say that to me…. you have no idea what I have been throu-gh.
JOJO

(she suddenly looked sad again)
I met my husband Kingsley two years ago, it wasn’t love at sight but before we knew it we were already madly in love. ..he didn’t want to waste much time so he took me home to meet his family, his father is a very powerful politician, his not only influential but very wealthy.
MICHAEL
what is your name?
GHOST GIRL
Melody….. that’s my name.
IRIS
so I’m guessing they didn’t accept you because you are not a politician’s daughter?
MELODY
they actually love me at the first glance, the dad was just talking about how beautiful I am and how lucky he is to have me in his family…. my mother inlaw loved me too….what more could I have asked for? I mean I had a perfect suitor, a perfect in-laws to be…. I felt everything in my life was complete but I was blind…I didn’t know the devil gave me all that just to steal my life away from me…. it was as if my husband kingsley was trying to meet up his target or something because with two weeks we had become husband and wife…. yes it was that fast…. I was the talk of town, a nobody who married a politician’s son, a lot of people jealous me…but I felt lucky and bless, I felt glad that I was been welcomed into a loving family , not just that a wealthy family… the problem of my life started just four months after my wedding, I was carrying my first pregnancy, which now is my last…. my father inlaw would call me to ask if his son is around, once I told him his son was at work or out of town he will drive down to our apartment himself…. to me I thought it was aharmless visit, I mean is not a crime for a man to visit his son’s house…. whenever he comes over he buys me gifts, plenty of them…. he even got me a car…. I thought it was all because he loved me as his daughter in-law… as my God would have it, he had an accident that kept him on the wheelchair for months, my baby turn a year and five months before my father in-law started to walk again.

MELODY
(she sniffed)
when my father in-law started to walk again, I was the most happiest, I cooked and called friends to celeBr@te with us… my husband and his father were so proud of me… that night my father in-law planted a ki-ss on my li-ps, I was shocked, I thought of what could make him do such a thing then he quickly put the blame on alcohol and I believed him….he begged me not to tell my husband or anyone else and I promised him I wouldn’t tell a soul…another mistake I made…. two days later my husband travel to London, his father sent him there for a business trip…. he knew my husband wasn’t around so he came visiting…. I made dinner for him and myself to eat, my maid was out of town, she had to go take care of her sick dad so I gave her some days off….. it was getting late and I expected my father in-law to leave but he didn’t, my son wanted to sleep so I took him upstairs to put him to bed….. I was still singing his favorite bed song to him when the door flew opened……
