Chapter 18
The atmosphere was really tense, the look Xander was giving Crystal could kill someone who wasn’t strong as Crystal if looks could kill.
“Loretta answer me, why did THE BOSS s£nd you a message to kill me in the next 24 hours”
“I don’t un-derstand what you are talking about” Crystal said pretending to be confused.
“Don’t you even think of fooling me. Fine explain this” He said and showed her the message.
She looked at it and faked a n@ûghty laugh, then puts her hand on her che-st.
“God Xander you scared me,that’s just a truth or dare game called THE BOSS. I set the dare to dangerous and put your name as the victim, even Jimmy’s name’s there. Here I’ll show you the app” Crystal said and unlocked her phone.
Xander not accepting what she’s explaining looks into her phone for the “App”.
“Ouch” Crystal gro-an ed and t©uçhed her stomach
“You okay” Xander asked, his attention drifted away from the phone and to her.
“Yeah yeah yeah am okay…… Goddddd” Crystal gro-an ed and pretends to fall, luckily Xander’s there to catch her.
“Are you okay” Xander asked and walked her to his car.
“Careful” He said and helped her in his car. Crystal watched as Xander rushed into the driver’s seat, at least he won’t talk about THE BOSS for sometime and that will give her some time to ask one of her Co workers to create some stupid game.
She hated the fact that she was treating Xander like a fool just because she was his weakness, she hated seeing him hurt but what can she do when there’s no other choice.

“How you feeling now” Xander asked Crystal, she was looking outside as different thoughts filled her head.
“Loretta” Xander called but her mind was far away from where she was. He t©uçhed her on her shoulder and she was back to him.
“Am okay” Crystal replied and smiled at Xander.
Crystal closed her eyes slowly and she soon began to doze away.
Xander watched her as she sle-pt off, he changed his course of direction immediately.

“Where where are we” Crystal asked as she wakes up to the mansion before her.
“Welcome to Xander’s little mansion” He said and opened the door for Crystal.
“Little mansion. Humble much??” Crystal scoffed and took Xander’s hand as she walked out.
Crystal looked around the mansion as Xander pu-ll-ed her in.
“Nice pool. I never knew you liked swimmingly ”
“I don’t….” Xander replied in an icy tone.
“You don’t know how to??” She asks and he scoffs.
“I do, I just don’t like it” He replied. Crystal smiled and walked to the pool. In his pres£nce she took off her dress and pu-lls off her shoes. She starts pu-lling off her un-derwear and Xander becomes uncomfortable
“What are you doing” Xander asked.
“This is me doing something you don’t like. It’s nothing you’ve not seen before besides I love swimming n-ked” With this Crystal jumps into the pool.
“You are so unpredictable, one minute you looked so vulnerable, the next minute you get angry, the next minute your stomach aches you and now you are swimming. I don’t un-derstand you” Xander said and walked closer to the pool.
“Stay here. I’ll be back, don’t think of leaving” Xander ordered sternly.
“Do I have a choice” Crystal replied and went dee-per inside the water.
Xander walked in the mansion, he brou-ght out his l@pt©p and starts doing some work about his case, the case that Crystal succeeded in distracting him from.
He was beginning to have doubts about Crystal, he didn’t know anything about her, but foolishly he trusted her.
He brou-ght out her ID card which he took when she was slee-ping and did some check on it to be sure if it was fake or real. Luckily for Crystal, the ID CARD proved real.
He remembers Max’s words in the Police headquarters and the pictures he showed. Those bodies were almost like Loretta’s, he was so lost that he didn’t really concentrate.
“What are you doing” Crystal asked water dripping from her b©dy, now she was wearing un-derwears.
“Nothing” Xander replied and closes the l@pt©p swiftly.
“Okayyyy, I was going to show you the game..”
“Don’t worry, you should rest, but first you should dry yourself ” Xander said.
“Okay” Crystal replied and looked around, she walks to a couch but Xander pu-lls her back.
“I just don’t know why I can’t let go of you” He said staring at her heavenly half n-ked b©dy.
“Xander let go of me” Crystal said and tried re-leasing herself from his grip but he was surprisingly stronger that night.
Crystal heart starts racing again, she didn’t like it.
“Let’s dance” He said and stood up then pla-yed a music.
Crystal wasn’t in the mood of dancing, she walked to the sofa and sat down.
Xander pu-lls her up and drags her closer to him.
“Xander I don’t want to dance” She said softly but Xander wasn’t listening.
“Xander st©p it” She said and tried moving away but Xander wasn’t listening. He wasn’t even looking at her, his mind was somewhere else.
“You know one thing I hate most in this world, scratch that two things I hate most” Xander said suddenly, he waited for Crystal to say what but she wasn’t saying anything so he continued.
“Murderers and Liars. I can’t stand it I hate them so much”
Crystal looked at him confused, what was he getting at.
“Xander my legs are aching me”
“Who’s the owner of the car you were about entering this night. It seemed like you were the owner since you were entering the driver’s seat ” He asked ignoring her complains and swirling her around.
“Xander I…”
“That day I asked you to follow me on a mission. It seemed like an easy task for you, it seemed like you loved doing that kind of job” He said again interrupting her.
“You weren’t even scared at all when you entered the club. You looked so powerful” He said again.
“How did all your stuff dissappear from your room today. Weird right. And you showed a very bit-chy or should I say your real attitude at the hospital” He said and pushed her so she could fall to the sofa.
Crystal looked at him, no trace of fear in her eyes but she was really scared.
“You know when you were asleep, I tried hacking your phone but somehow I couldn’t. Only a really smart person who’s good and really good with computers can make their phones unhackable, especially when they are hiding something”
“What’s going on Xander, I don’t know what you are talking about” Crystal said and tried standing up.
“SIT!!” Xander yelled at her, he sounded really scary and dangerous. The nice Xander was gone. The affection she saw in his eyes was gone, now there was hatred. de-ep HATRED
Crystal wasn’t scared she stands up and faces him.
“Who exactly are you” He asked and walks to his l@pt©p then opens it.
“You walked in and distracted me from my case so swiftly. I must have been a fool right. You hurt yourself with sharp objects but the pain had almost no effect on you, I was the one who felt the pain and am sure you mocked me right”
“Xander you are drun!k”
“TELL ME WHO YOU REALLY ARE LORETTA GATES, WHO s£nT….” He couldn’t complete his s£ntence because Crystal had shoved a knife into his stomach.
He looked down then looked at her.
“Why” He said weakly and fell down.
Crystal realized what she had done and the consequences.
“XANDER…Open your eyes plea-se. Xander no no no” She said but his pulse was dropping.
“You deserve to be happy” Xander said slowly and weakly and his heartbeat drops.
“XANDER NOO, NOO plea-sE XANDER NOOO OO” Crystal yelled and opened her eyes.
“Lorry, you good??” Xander asked still driving the car.
Crystal looked around and realized she was dreaming.
“Am am okay” Crystal replied.
“Where where are we” She asked
“Welcome to Xander’s little mansion” He said and pu-ll-ed the br@kes.
A text messages enters her phone, it’s from Kate.
“CRYSTAL YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE JIMMY’S HOUSE RIGHT NOW, THE BOSS JUST s£nT SOMEONE TO PLANT A BOMB THERE. HE PLANS TO KILL YOU AND XANDER TOGETHER, LEAVE THERE NOW, YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 MINUTES”
Crystal looked at the message and frowned, her boss was a real bastard. Luckily she’s not in Jimmy’s house.
“Jimmy called, he said he’s home alre-ady” Xander said and opened the door for her
“fv¢k” Crystal said and hits the car, nothing must happen to Jimmy.
Chapter 19
Crystal looked at the message on her phone and then Xander.
“You okay, you seem nervous”
“Dina” Crystal said and walked out of the car, she dials Dina’s number.
“Crystal talk to me” Xander says feeling uneasy.
“Am coming” Crystal said and snatched the car keys from Xander. With one start, she was gone alre-ady.
📞 Babe am at Jimmy’s house, I can’t find you or Xander 📞 Dina says on the phone.
📞 Dina your mother fv¢king boss just s£nt someone to implant a bomb in Jimmy’s house. I nee-d you to keep a look out for any of her Co workers 📞
📞WHATTTT, NA I don’t believe you Crystal. He can’t do that. I mean we don’t kill the good guys just the bad guys 📞
📞Tell that to your stupid boss’s jealousy okay. Make sure you keep a look out for any of our co workers 📞
📞Seriously Crystal whoever told you that is a liar, I trust…….. Waitttt, I just saw one of our co_workers coming out of Jimmy’s house 📞
📞 Dina nothing should happen to Jimmy okay, make sure nothing happens to him 📞 Crystal said and increa-sed the speed on her car, she had to get to Jimmy real quic-k.

Dina jumped in front of the person who sneaked out of Jimmy’s house. The b©dy structure of the person proved that it was a guy, he was wearing a mask and it was difficult for Dina to know who it was until she re-moved the mask.
“Boss” Dina said shocked but not really surprised.
“Am sure your bestfriend called you now and told you someone was bringing a bomb here” He said and dropped his bag on the floor.
“Well trust me Dina. I was only pu-lling her legs, I knew if I planned something like that. Stupid Kate will rush and tell everything to Crystal, but the main purpose is not to kill Jimmy but to separate Crystal from Xander so I can finish him” He said and smiled
“You Bastard” Dina said and pointed a gun at him.
“Don’t you even dare” Asher said and some males who were working in the same agency c@m£ out and stood behind Asher smiling.
“You know Dina, I would really love you to live but you are so close to Crystal. I can’t let you live besides you broke another rule, you pointed a gun at your boss, too bad. I’ll have to finish you too in a very painful way, I would have asked a female like you to finish you up but I know it’s very easy. Well if you can kill four men then you are free to live, but I know its impossible. Goodbye Dina” He said and walked out leaving Dina alone with four men.
“So what are you guys going to hit me or what” Dina said and one of them attacked her with a punch. She t©uçhed her tornl-ips and realized she was bleeding.
“Son of a c0ck” Dina said and kicked his face ma-king him fall to the ground.
She looked at her gun on the floor and reached for it but one pu-lls her leg.

Xander paces around calling Crystal’s phone but it keeps on getting ignored.
“That woman makes me go mad” He said and suddenly feels something ha-rd hit his head.

Jimmy walks down with a bag of trash, he opens the trash can and puts the trash in.
His phone sli-ps from his hand and falls in the can.
“fv¢k” He says and re-moves his headset, immediately he re-moves it he hears some noise outside the house, b!ows and punches including gro-an s.
“The fv¢k be happening outside” Jimmy said and re-moves the phone from the trash. Getting outside he sees something surprising.
A man lieing on the floor obviously pas-sed out and three men hitting the hell out of a woman. His woman.
“Holy” He said and attacked pushing Dina to the back. She was badly hurt alre-ady.
“You good” He said and punched one of the guys.
Dina seeing Jimmy as a distraction takes the gun and shoots one of them down, the gun is kicked out of her hand immediately.

Xander looks back and sees a woman smiling evilly.
“What the fv¢k is all this” He yells tou-ching the back of the head and upset to see it bleeding.
She kicks him but Xander catches her leg and pushes her away.
“Are you crazy. You are really lucky I don’t hit women” He said
“Too bad such a handsome guy is just gonna die like that” She said and attacked Xander again this time with a gun and directly aimed at his che-st.

Crystal reaches the scene and sees Dina and Jimmy fighting off Two men.
“Bastards” She said and di-pped her hand in her un-derwears removing the gun in the pocket of her p@n-ties.
“Hey taste my pvzzy” She yelled and sh0t both of them down.
“Cry….. Erm hey thanks for saving us. One of them said they were going to attack someb©dy called Xander” Dina said and Crystal eyes wi-de-ned.
“Xander” She said and entered the car speeding off to Xander’s.

“Stella don’t you think there’s something familiar about this girl” Carlos said zooming in and out of Crystal’s picture.
Stella walks out of the be-d with only her un-derwear. She notices something in the picture
“Wait wait wait zoom in… Zoom in more, those hazel eyes remind me of someone. Wait wait only one person I know has this hazel eyes”
“Crystal??” Carlos questioned alre-ady realizing the familiarity of the face.
“But if this is Crystal why does she pose has Loretta. I mean this is Crystal. She might have changed in all her features but she’s the only hazel’d eye girl I know, I always knew this girl was familiar but it never c@m£ across that this might be Crystal. And her mom is getting married to her Lover’s Dad. I know this is a plan work. Loretta c@m£ to revenge for what happened 5 years ago”
“Well that won’t happen cause we’ll be getting rid of Crystal and her mother and Xander’s dad”
“You guys shouldn’t be fas-ter than your shadow” A female voice said and walked in the room.
“Gold what do you want” Stella said glaring at Gold.
“To do this” She said and sh0t Carlos in the head then opens a bottle of acid and spills it on Stella’s face. Excruciating screams followed almost deafening Gold’s ear.
“You know killing you would be so silly, I nee-d you to suffer. I wonder how many surgeries would help you this time. Now let’s see who you guys are calling Crystal, my sweet v!rg!ndaughter” She looks at the computer and exclaims.

“What do you want from me” Xander asked tou-ching his bleeding che-st, he was hurting there.
“Well since you’ll soon die I’ll better tell you now, at least you’ll die with knowing the truth . You know The Boss gave Crystal a mission, simple to distract you but the bit-ch got herself distracted by your d!¢k, boss wasn’t a fan of any. He wanted you dead but it seemed your d!¢k was too strong for Crystal, she couldn’t hurt you and that pissed off boss. So that brings us here”
“Crystal is Loretta right. She’s an as-sas-sin right” Xander said and a rush of hatred dissolved in him. The pain he felt was nothing compared to the hatred. He felt nauseous, betrayed and it just de-epened the hatred more.
The hatred gave him strength, he pushes the girl away and picks up her gun.
“What are you going to do, are you going to kill me. Am not scared of death” She said and laughed.
“SHUT UP!!” He yelled and sh0t at her but missing intentionally.
“I want you to go to your boss and tell him to come and face me man to man and he should st©p allowing women do his innocent work” Xander spat.
The headlights of Xander’s car with Crystal on it appeared in the scene, Crystal looked at Xander and ran out of the car.
She saw someone and something, she bec@m£ alert immediately.
“Xander!!” She yelled and ran to him hvgging him ti-ght. The girl on seeing Crystal runs away.
He was going to push her away but the gunsh0ts he heard threw the hatred in the bin for the while.
“Am sorry” Crystal apologized with tears in her eyes.
He t©uçhes her back and all he felt was fresh blood, another Gun Sh0t again and this time Crystal spurts out blood ma-king Xander extremely scared.
Her eyes begin to close slowly and her face becomes paler, Xander notices Asher from far trying to pu-ll the trigger again. He shoots him and sits down on the ground holding almost unconscious Crystal in his arms.
“Baby C’mon open your eyes. Don’t close them just open your eyes”
“It doesn’t hurt Xander, I swear it doesn’t” Crystal said smiling, her clothes was soa-ked in blood alre-ady.
He lifts her up and carries her in his car, he enters the car and speeds off.
“Baby stay with me, you’re going to be okay. plea-se don’t die on me” Xander said and t©uçhes Crystal hands.
The car st©ps ma-king Xander more frustrated.
“fv¢k” He cries out and walks out of the car, he checks the engine of the car but can’t find anything wrong with the car.
“$h!ttt” He says and carries her out of the car.
She had lost a lot of blood alre-ady, she was dieing and Xander could feel it.
He remembered the old woman’s word.
“You have one Crystal, don’t lose it”
She was his Crystal and he was loosing her alre-ady.
He carries her and walks to find help, the severe pain he feels in his che-st reminds him that there was a bullet there. He broke down, he couldn’t move anymore. His b©dy was giving up..
He la-id Crystal down on the floor, her eyes were shut and he couldn’t hear her heartbeats again.
“No no, C’mon baby don’t do this. plea-se don’t leave me alone now, who am I going to get upset with, who am I going to pin to the wall when am upset, who am I going to make love to, who am I going to protect.. CRYSTAL plea-sE, BABY plea-sE DON’T DO THIS TO ME. I love you” He said and lays besides Crystal’s b©dy. He hold Crystal’s hands and he also closes his eyes.
