Chapter 17: Searching For Him

“Oh shit, the boy escaped” Mr Cole shouted.
“Don’t worry, Cole… we would find him” Adrian said and blew away the smoke of the cigarette.
“Do you think it is easy to capture him?” Mr Cole said, angrily.
“I know it’s not easy to capture because he would hide… travel to America when you win the contract” Adrian said.
“The shepherd will travel however far to retrieve the missing lamb, be it morning or night, sun or rain, rocks, mountains valley, peaks, he will search anywhere and everywhere for me and he will eventually find me… if at that time the missing lamb is in his tiger’s mouth” Mr Cole said and threw the glas-s cu-p on his hand away.
“I will inform my guards to go and search for him” Adrian said.
“They should search for him everywhere and anywhere” Mr Cole shouted.
Adrian was about to say something when Mr Cole’a phone ring.
“Hello, who is this?” Mr Cole asked.
“Sir, check your phone” The person said and Mr Cole hung up immediately and checked his phone.
He screamed out loudly.
“We won the contract” Mr Cole shouted.
“That’s good” Adrian said.
“Find the boy for me and I will give you your shere” Mr Cole said.
“You must be joking” Adrian said and pointed a gun at him.
“Adrian, put the gun down… I will send the money to your account tomorrow” Mr Cole said.
“If you don’t, I will kill your family” Adrian said and Mr Cole nodded then he left.
Adrian faced Ryder and Jagger.
“You guys should go and find the boy… if you don’t see him, don’t come back here or else I am gonna kill you”’ Adrian said.
“But boss…”
“Go” Adrian shouted and they left.
Adrian inhales and exhales the smoke of the cigarette. He was in his thoughts when Poppy enter.
“Hey sweetie” Poppy said and ki-ssed him.
“Babe, I miss you so much” Adrian said.
“Aww… I miss you too” Poppy said and collected the cigarette in his hand.
Adrian ki-ssed her hair.
“Babe, I don’t want Ace to go to school again with me though he is not acting as my bodyguard but I don’t have freedom” Poppy said with a pout.
Adrian chuckled.
“I will tell him to stop… how is the job?” Adrian asked.
“Good, I have become friends with Angela” Poppy said with a smile.
That’s good, keep an eye on her” Adrian said and she nodded.
He ki-ssed her and she responded to the ki-ss, they did that hungrily.
“Babe, I want you” Poppy M0-ned
“Let’s go upstairs” Adrian said and carried her upstairs.
When they got to the room, Adrian lay her on the bed and they kept on ki-ssing. Adrian undressed her clothes and Poppy grabbed him then they started ki-ssing again.
“Babe, go in” Poppy M0-ned.
Adrian caressed her b***bs and suc-ked one of them rou-ghly. Poppy M0-ned, he took her pa-nties off then he immediately undid his belt. He pushed his d***k right inside her.
Poppy M0-ned.
“Babe, go fas-ter” Poppy said.
Adrian smi-rked and fuc-k her faste, Poppy kept on M0-ning.
“I’m cu-mming” Poppy said and Adrian pulled out and they fell on the bed. He ki-ssed her.

Immediately they were done eating Brody went to the training room and Angela followed him. When they got there Angela told him they should fight together.
They started fighting, Brody was about to hit Angela when she waved and Angela hit him. Angela kept on hitting him.
“Babe, what’s wrong? You are becoming weak” Angela said.
Brody didn’t utter a word.
“Babe…”
“Let’s do it one more time” Brody said.
“Are you sure? Will you take a rest” Angela said, gazing at him.
Brody shook his head and stood up.
Angela get back to position, they started fighting and Angela hit him again.
“Brody, I can’t do this” Angela said.
“Hit me” Brody said and she shook her head.
“Babe, let’s do this” Brody said.
She kept on hitting him.
Brody was about to hit Angela when he fell down and pas-sed out.
“Brody” Angela shouted.
Lydia and Bryan rushed in.
“What happened to him?” Lydia asked and Angela told them everything.
Bryan took Brody to Angela’s room when they got to the room and laid him on the bed.
“Should we call the doctor” Angela said and she took her phone.
She was about to dial the doctor’s number when Bryan collected the phone from her.
“We can’t trust anyone for now” Bryan said and Angela nodded.
“What should we do?” Angela thought and ru-bbed her hair.
“Calm down babe” Lydia said.
They were all sitting down in the room, thinking of what to do when they heard footsteps.
“Lydia, go and check” Angela said and she nodded then she stood up.
When Lydia opened the door, she met Giselle and Anita standing in front of her.
“Hi Lydia” Giselle smiled.
“Hi… come in” Lydia said and they came in.
“Oh, is that not Brody?” Giselle asked and Angela nodded.
“What happened to him?” Angela asked, staring at Brody.
“He fainted” Angela replied.
“Let’s take him to the hospital” Giselle said.
“No… we can’t, I will tell you the reason why we can’t take him to hospital later” Angela said.
“Let Anita treat him” Giselle said.
“Can she treat him?” Bryan asked.
“Yes… sis, have you forgotten that dad told Anita to go and learn medicine and become a doctor before she can be my personal guard” Giselle said.
“Yes, that’s true” Angela said with a nod.
“She should start” Lydia said and Anita moved closer to Brody, she checked his pulse.
Some minutes later, when Anita was done she sent Bryan to go and get some drugs for Brody.
“Don’t worry, he will be fine ma’am” Anita said.
Angela only nodded, she sat down with Brody.
“Babe, you will be fine… I love you” Angela said and ki-ssed him.
Giselle and Anita exchanged looks.
“They are dating” Lydia said and Giselle gasped.
“Let’s excuse them” Anita said and they left the room.
“Babe, please wake up” Angela said and tears dropped from her face.

At night, Brody finally wakes up, when he opens his eyes, Angela calls him and hu-gs him. Tears streamed down her face and Brody wiped it away.
“ I am fine” Brody said.
“I was so scared, I thought I was gonna loose you” Angela said, in tears.
Brody shook his head and sat up.
“Gently” Angela said and sit with him.
“I miss you” Brody said.
Angela hu-gged him ti-ghtly.
“Babe, you are hurting me” Brody said.
“I’m sorry” Angela said.
Someone coughed and they turned back.
“Giselle” Angela called and she smiled.
“So, you guys have been dating and you didn’t tell me” Angela said and frowned.
“Sorry, sis” Angela said and narrated everything to her.
“Huh… sorry about to lose, Brody” Giselle said and he nodded.
“Let me leave you too” Giselle said and was about to leave when Angela called her.
“What is it? Giselle asked.
“Did Quinn tell you that Alonso is alive” Angela asked.
“What? That wicked man is alive” Giselle said with a frown.
“Hey, calm down” Angela said
“Let me excuse you guys” Giselle said and left.
Angela faced Brody.
“Babe, who is Alonso?” Brody asked, gazing at him.
“He is my dad’s friend… My dad lent him money and he ran away with his family. My dad thought he would pay it back but that wicked man ran away with it, after a month my dad fell sick because the money he lent him was not a small amount of money” Angela said.
“It’s okay, don’t worry” Brody said and she nodded.
“What do you want to go and eat… I will prepare it for you” Angela said and tou-ched his forehead.
“I’m fine, babe… I am not eating, I want you to stay by my side” Brody said.
“Don’t worry, I won’t leave your side” Angela said and Brody ki-ssed her.
They lay on the bed together, staring at each other.
“Babe, I will start the mission very soon” Brody said.
“No, you are…”
“I am fine… I think of changing my name because Brody makes me weak” Brody said.
“Babe, your name is okay” Angela said.
“No… I wanna change my name” Brody said.
“Okay, to what? Bruce lee” Angela said and he chuckled.

Brody put a finger on her li-ps.
“How about I change it to Bullet” Brody said.
“So cool… I love that” Angela smiled.
“I love you” Brody said.
“I love you more… should I also change my name” Angela asked and he shook his head.
Angela frowned.
“Do you know that you look more pretty when you frowned” Brody said and Angela hit him slightly.
“Angie” Brody said with a smile.
“What did you just called me?” Angela asked.
“Angie… don’t you like it?” Brody asked.
“Babe, I love it” Angela said and hu-gged him.
“I know you are gonna love it, my queen” Brody said with a smile.
Angela ki-ssed him.
“Won’t you give me a name that only you will be calling me” Brody said.
“Huh” Angela said and Brody nodded.
“Brodz” Angela said and he shook his head.
“Okay… how about hot li-ps” Angela said.
“I love that” Brody said and ki-ssed her.
Angela reciprocates.

The next day, when Axel got to the clas-s, he didn’t see Brody in the clas-s.
“He didn’t come today… why is Brody missing clas-s this” Axel thought.
Axel was lost in his thought that he didn’t know when Levi sat down with him.
“Bro” Levi called but he didn’t hear.
Levi tapped him.
“Hey, you are here” Axel said and he nodded.
“What’s wrong? Why are you so lost?” Levi asked, gazing at him.
“Nothing… why didn’t Brody come to college” Axel said.
“Call him” Levi said.
“I have been calling his number since yesterday but it’s reachable” Axel said.
They were having a conversation when Brody and Angela entered holding each other’s hand.
Levi frowned when he saw them.
“Brody” Axel called and ran to him.
“Bro, I missed you” Brody said and hu-gged him.
“Why are you putting a nose cover and a cap” Axel asked.
“I must..”
“Sorry, he can’t tell you” Bryan cuts in.
“Okay” Axel said.
“Babe, see you later” Angela said and was about to leave when Brody dragged her back.
“What is it?” Angela asked with a smile.
“You are missing something” Brody said.
“Oh… sorry, hot li-ps” Angela said and ki-ssed him.
“Hot li-ps??” Axel exclaimed.
Angela rolled her eyes and left.
“Are you guys in a… relationship?” Axel asked and he nodded.
“Woohoo, i am so happy for you” Axel said with a smile.
They went to sit.
“Hi, Levi” Brody said.
“Hi” Levi said with a fake smile.
“So, why don’t you come yesterday?” Axel asked.
“Something happened” Brody said.
“What’s that?” Axel asked, gazing at him.
“I will tell you later” Brody said and he nodded.

“Teresa, have you heard that Angela and Brody are in a relationship? “ Brianna said.
“Tell me you are joking” Teresa Said.
“I’m not joking, babe… I am serious” Brianna said.
“Oh shit, she wants to snatch Brody away from me” Teresa said as she stood up.
She went to meet Angela, immediately she got to Angela sit, she dragged her hair.
“Leave me, Teresa… I don’t wanna hurt” Angela screamed.
“You witch… you snatched Brody away from me” Teresa said, angrily.
Brody stood up and pushed Teresa away then he slapped her.
All the students gasped.
“Don’t you have sense at all, I have told you several times that I don’t love you, what’s your problem for God’s sake” Brody yelled.
“Babe, leave her” Angela said.
“No… everyone should face me, I want you all to know that Angela is my girlfriend and if I see any of you speaking ru-bbish about her, you’re gonna see my other side” Brody said and held Angela’s hand then they left the clas-s.
“Oh shit… I will make you pay for this Angela” Teresa shouted.
