Vanni was standing at the window side with a glas-s of wine in her hands
She was wearing a red night go-wn
She was so much lost in thoughts and tears were dripping down her eyes
“Vanni?” Her mother called tapping her on the shoulder.
Vanni shuddered and instantly cleaned her eyes.
She turned around with a smile
“Mother when did you enter ?” Vanni asked
“Just now dear, I have been knocking since but got no reply, so I decided to entered inside just to see you standing by the window lost in thoughts” her mother said
Vanni heaved a sigh and walked over to the edge of the be-d and sat down..
“Are you crying again?” Her mother asked as she walked over the be-d and sat beside her
“No mum” vanni replied
“I know you cried vanni, is it about sylvester?” Her mother
“I missed them mom…is…is all my fault mom” vanni said and broke down crying
“Shhh, is never your fault dear… rather they are not meant to be yours” her mother said consoling her
After vanni st©pped crying and sobbing
“Are you okay now?” Her mother asked
“Yes mother” vanni replied nodding her head
“You just have to know they are in a happy place now, seeing you cry all the time will make them sad” her mother said

A teacher was in the clas-s teaching, why moon was looking at her but her mind wasn’t there at all
She sometimes takes glance at the empty seat beside her
Is been five days now since Christan hasn’t been in school
Moon doesn’t know why she is feeling bad about it and why it is affecting her so much
She just feels sad and couldn’t concentrate on what the teacher is teaching
She was worried if he was fine
And she doesn’t have his number, and had no one to ask about his whereabouts
And she doesn’t wanna ask her friends
Is not only moon that is not paying attention to what the teacher is teaching
Mark who is at the back is watching moon at every slightest move of hers wondering what is her problem
Emily is also distracted with her hands on her jaw looking at the teacher mindlessly
She heaved a frustrated sigh and bend her head
She too was also wondering why Christan was abs£nt for five good days
“Emily Oscar are you okay” the teacher who noticed Emily’s discomfort asked

“Come in” he said
The door pu-ll-ed open and his secretary walked
“Sir someone said I should give this envelope to you” his secretary said giving him a white large envelope
“And who is that?” Sylvester asked taking the envelope
” I don’t know sir” his secretary said shooking her head
“Alright you can go” sylvester said and his secretary walked out of the office
Sylvester wanted to continue what he was doing but he decided to check the contents of the envelope
He took it and and opened it
He slid his hands in it and brou-ght out a small written paper which says
‘You have met with the Gotlied granddaughter right?, But there is something you don’t know about her,just check out the contents inside the envelope Mr sylvester’
Sylvester quic-kly dropped the paper on the table and opened the envelope to have a better access to it
Just then he saw moon’s pictures and some papers
“Why is someone s£nding me vanni’s child picture” he muttered to himself and took the picture to take a better view
“She is such a beauty like her mother” he muttered to himself again and was about to drop the picture and check the others when he noticed something that is written at the back of the picture
Sylvester eyes wi-de-ned in shock at what he re-ad that was written in a Bold letters

“What’s the meaning of all this?” He asked not believing what he has re-ad
He moved his hand and took the remaining paper to re-ad
His eyes wi-de-ned even the more at what he re-ad again
It was a hospital details about moon, her blood type and every other things
And all the things that is written there is all the features about him
Sylvester slumped on the chair with his head up
“No this can’t be true, vanni wasn’t pregnant then” sylves said with doubts
But on second thought he believed everything because of the fact that vanni left the country immediately after their divorce

He immediately spranged up from the chair and checked the Time
And it was the appropriate time for students to dismiss
He took his car keys and stumped out of the office
