For a while Shelby said nothing. What he just said now made no s-en-se and she was just certain that he was completely out of his mind. They both waited, looking at each other, he had an agitated expression on his face…

‘plea-se say something…”

She waited and then said. “When did you start taking drugs?”

He g@sped and shook his head painfully with a sigh

. “You didn’t believe me.”

“Ofcourse why would I believe such a thing? Why would you even think of something like that? Are you drun!k, don’t joke with me when it comes to Nana plea-se.”

“I am not joking Shelby plea-se listen to me…”

She stared at him as if he was having a mental problem. “Nana died of accident okay, I was told. I heard you disappeared for some days and I’m only asking you to know where you went to and not because you think I am stupid enough to…you know what? Forget it.” She began to walk away from him and quic-kly, he gr@bb£d her arm and pu-ll-ed her towards him so suddenly, bringing hisl-ips down to hers.

At first she was stunned as theirl-ips met, it was so sudden and hisl-ips were cold. The k!sswas rou-gh and ha-rd .

She could detect urgency and de-sire all mixed together at the ti-p of his gliding ton-gue, as she wanted to k!sshim back, he pu-ll-ed away…holding her with both arms. There was fear in his eyes and for the first time, she could tell he was sane and he was afraid…

“Listen to me. I nee-d you to listen to me plea-se. I know what you took from your father, the tag…”

“Ok..hold on..how did you know that?”

“I know you want to join the business but it is not what you think it is. It is a secret cult service which is powerful and has killed many people. I don’t know why your father wants you to join but I know you want to join because you think you want to displace Laura but you nee-d to st©p. It is not what you think it is…”

Shelby’s heart was beating so fast as he listened to what he was saying.

“I got your network jammed because I didn’t want you to open the info on that tag.

. You are not re-ady for this..I don’t want you in that business, it will ruin your life and…”

“Look, Fabian, what are you talking about? You are scaring the $h!t out of me..plea-se tell me this is a joke…”

“What I just told you, about Nana…” He sighed and continued . “It’s the truth.”

She eased her arm from his grip. “No, no, no, I don’t believe you….It’s not possible, you couldn’t even kill that stupid c0ckroach on your be-d when we were younger and….” Her voice trailed off as she stared at him…he wasn’t changing his statement. “No, no, it cant be true. She ..she was like our mother, she took you in when your parents died in that accident and she…” She st©pped, hoping Fabian would change his statement, hoping he would say he was joking, no, he was just staring at her with that goddam guilt written all over his face. She backed away from him.

“No…I don’t believe you Fabian…you would never kill Nana, you loved her too much, and you were her favorite.”

“I am so sorry, I didn’t do it intentionally…It was a mistake….”

She was frozen, her mouth was wi-de-open in an expression of wi-de surprise. He c@m£ closer but she backed away and finally she began to run.

quic-kly Fabian dialed a number on his phone. “Yea. Plan B”

Initially, they had planned that if she takes the car, she would have to hit Michael and call Fabian to help him out, from there, Fabian gets the flash drive that would be containing Michaels funeral as a proof that he actually died, then out of guilt for hittign an innocent man. she might run away and Fabiab will convince her to let him take crae of it, but now that she was on the move, Michael would have to hit her…it was easier like that. As he ended the call, he opened his palm and in it was the tag he had retrieved from Shelby, he was able to get it back, atleast, he got to tell her first and now, Michael would have to take her away with him..forever and far away.

His phone rang, he he took a de-ep breath as he saw the number, it was the boss….he hadn’t even planned on what he was going to say about his daughter’s disappearance.

The elevator chimed and Michael stepped out into the facility. It was an un-derground building below the mansion. Anyone would never have known that such existed there. The only people who could get there were people that worked there and who had no idea that they were being paid to destroy other people’s lives, instead, they were made to believe that they were getting rid of the bad people in the society. A total br@inwash!

Black widow has facilities everywhere and their as-sas-sins were everywhere as well

. They only get to hold a meeting once in a while , maybe like once in five years. But people within a vicinity would always stay close, just as they were, there.

There were few people on seat, busy working on their systems and intercoms. Immediately he approached, the whispering started. These were people that worked un-der him for surveillance and for daily operations. They were not supposed to be on seat today but they were. It could mean only one thing, they were looking for someone un-der the boss’s order. On the big screen , he could see the picture of Shelby and his face ti-ght£ñed. They were all trying to find Shelby.

He hasn’t contacted Michael, he had told him that he would be the one to contact him. He could see movement in the boss’s room via the opened window, mustering courage he moved towards the office, opened the door ato face the wrath.

He was sitting behind his table, de-eply engrossed in the system infront of him, as Fabian got in he looked up his face darkening.

“Is there something you nee-d to tell me son?”

“About what?” Fabian growled, faking innocence.

The man exploded out of his chair, br@ndishing his fist

. “Don’t you dare toy with me Fabian…where is my daughter?”

Fabian took a ra-pid breath. “She is not here and I don’t know where she is.”

The man ban-ged the table so ha-rd . “I know you took her to that stupid pla-yground of yours! Didn’t I tell you times without number not to get close to her? Are you insane? Now, where is she?”

‘She’s not here and like I said, I don’t know where she is. But I can tell you that she is safe from you.”

The man moved out of his seat. ‘What are you saying? Did she check the tag?”

“No, she didn’t, I took it from her and now she is gone, far away where you won’t have the chance to mess up her life like you did mine…” The b!ow that landed across his face was so sudden and he felt blood at the corner of hisl-ips.

“Don’t you ever talk to me like that again!” The man snarled at him.

Fabian smiled, adjusted his suit. “You can punch me all you want old man, but know one thing, it can never cause me any more pain than what you made me do. You are not a father…” He snarled at him, baring his teeth. “You are a monster. You want to turn your own daughter into a killer? I will not allow that, she is too innocent for such. She is gone, far away…”

The man laughed, shaking his head. “If I don’t find my daughter today Fabian…”

“What will you do?” He demanded, smiling.

. “Would you ask me to kill Nana again…oh wait, —been there , done that. Will you lock me up? torture me or even kill me? Look, I will even accept the last option because at least I will be free from you.”

“Guards!” The boss shouted.

Two guards c@m£ in immediately.

“I am going to make you suffer for you just did Fabian…” The man threatened.

“You can’t make me suffer, you alre-ady made me lose everything I ever cared about in my life…” Fabian said, tears in his eyes, “Believe me, I have nothing to lose. I am all you have, I am the son you never had, you created me and made me into your image, if you kill me you will lose your best man and your best son.” He looked at the guards. “Are you going to seize me or are you going to be wasting my time?”

The guards looked at the boss for further instruction but he gave none so Fabian took out the tag and threw it on the table. “ I retrieved that from her, who else would have done that? I will be out, call me if there is a mission.”

“Did you check what is on the tag?”

“What else will be there than my red code, I don’t want to remember my worst nightmare, there is no reason to open it besides you would have been notified if I had. So now, can I go?” He asked and without waiting for a response, left the room,

While he later got back to his car. He thought of calling Michael but he changed his mind, they may be watching him, he will call him once his connection is secured.
