Pearl’s eyes kept dilating on the spĀ©t till Richmond ended the k!ss, her eyes still remained big as if she saw a ghost
The audience are still shouting as the competition director handed the teddy over to Pearl
“I got the teddy” she said, smiling sillily and admiring it
“Yes you did, you both will make a good couple” the director replied and smiled before leaving
“Let’s go” Richmond said and led the way out of the place
Pictures has been snapped alre-ady and it’s sure that tonight till tomorrow morning will be filled with the gist
Fans loves spre-ading rumours a lot
They got back to the car and entered, it bec@mĀ£ awkward cos none of them is talking
They look at each other and when their eyes meet, they’ll quic-kly look away
“Don’t let us create an awkward air between us, take it as an illusion like I said, it never happened, I ran with a full package on by back so I can never leave without getting the teddy for you and that’s why I decided to do that…..it never happened anyways” he said
” Oh…ok, let’s keep the normalcy” she replied
“Cool, High five” he said and they stuck hands before he started the drive though Pearl found it ha-rd to stĀ©p stealing glances at him and when her eyes caught his softl-ips, she almost can’t believe she has been k!$$Ā£d with that
She didn’t know how attrac-tive hisl-ips are till now and now she can’t take that scene off her head
He got to her house and she c@mĀ£ out of the car, holding the pink teddy dearly
“See you in school tomorrow” she waved and he waved back with a smile before driving off
She smiled and went in
“Whoa!, It’s so cute!” Beverly screamed immediately she entered with the teddy

” Yes” Pearl replied, blu-shing as she talked

“Give it to me as a gift , I’m turning fourteen very soon” Beverly said

” Where’s mum and dad?, What about Jewel?” Pearl asked
” Mum and dad are asleep alre-ady, and about Jewel, she’s in her room” Love replied
” Is she crying again?” Pearl asked
” No, but she’s not smiling, it’s normal anyways, the fact that she’s not crying is enough” Love replied
” Is Kingsley oppa not coming back for real?” Beverly said
” He’s coming back, just that we don’t know when” Love replied
” Wait….I don’t remember seeing this head band among your bands” Pearl said, tou-ching the band in Love’s hair
” I love it so much, Ry got it for me” she replied
” You mean Ryder?” Pearl asked
“Yes” Love nodded
” How sweet of him, now you see this Lincoln of a girl has no chance” Pearl said and Love smiled
” I nee-d to get a bĀ©yfriĀ£ndtoo who can buy me gifts” Beverly said

“You’re just as cute as him, what should I name you?, Cutie?, Yes cutie” she said and her mind drifted to Richmond again
” No, he said it’s an illusion so I shouldn’t think about it,it never happened” she said to herself but the scene popped up in her head again and she tĀ©uƧhed herl-ips slightly
“Can I really take this….as an imagination?, Is it possible?” She asked herself.

Australia, 9pm**
Kingsley is just coming back from the first conference with the stakeholders from Germany and he’s damn tired
He yanked off his suit and tie, leaving him in only the white shi-t and black trou-sers
His fever is getting worse but he’s not concerned about it, he’s still feeling throbbing headache and the catarrh is still persisting, his nose runs and his eyes re-leased tears voluntarily throu-ghout the conference, he just managed throu-gh
His temperature is high too and bĀ©dy ache is p@rt of it
His phone rang, a call from Bianca, he picked reluctantly
“Son, one of your guards reported that you’re not ok and you refused to take drugs or go to the hospital” she said and he can feel something different about her voice, it’s different from the usually stern one
“Do you now care about me?, If you care about me let me come back home I beg you” he replied weakly, resting on the rails
” plea-se take drugs I got or go to the hospital, I’ve told your chief guard to buy you drugs since he said you’re showing signs of fever, plea-se take it from him and use them” Bianca said
The chief guard c@mĀ£ in immediately with the drugs which he dropped on the table
“Madam Bianca told me to drop this, plea-se take the drugs” he said
” I’m not interested” he replied
” plea-se son…. Kingsley…” Bianca tried to persuade him but he hung up
“What’s your name?” He asked the chief guard
“Len” he replied
” Take the drugs and get out” he said and wo-bbled his feet, dragging it on the stairs till he got upstairs
He went straight to the bathroom and entered the bathtub without taking off his clothes
He di-pped his bĀ©dy completely into the tub including his head
He closed his eyes and all he’s seeing is her…
“I wish I can elope to somewhere safe with you” he thought sadly.

” Why are you being moody?” Ronny asked Rommy after finishing his call with Veera
“Nothing” she replied curtly
“You’ve been behaving cranky since we c@mĀ£ back from school, anything wrong?” He asked

” Is she on her period?” Ronny wondered
Rommy got to her room and sat on her be-d, staring at her phone, thinking about weather she should call Jax or not
She remembered the wave and smile he gave Pearl and Veera the other time but when she waved, he actually ignored her

She sat up again and covered her face with her hair
“Jax Styles, leave my head, go away!, Go away from my head Jax!!” She screamed and fell back on the be-d

Next day, Rosie’s bar**
” A bottle of Budweiser plea-se!” A customer shouted, entering the bar
“learn to be modest, you always shout unnecessarily” Rosie replied from the stand as one of her waiters went to serve him
“I think she gave him the last Budweiser on the cellar, I should call my supplier” Rosie said and picked her phone to make the call but a woman who entered the bar got her attention
“Bianca Brown!” One of the waiters exclaimed
“What’s that arrogant woman doing here?” Rosie wondered as she walked towards her with five guards behind her
” Rosie Hales, we nee-d to talk” she said calmly
“Bianca Brown, about what?” She questioned
” Let’s sit and talk better” she replied seriously
Rosie looked at her for a while before offering her a seat, she sat across her and Bianca really smells money!
Her spray smells like perfection and her dress s-en-se and style is extremely rich, ranging from her bag to her shoes and her accessories then hair, her skin is even without blemish and her face glows, she’s a beautiful woman and her eyeba-lls are one of a kind
“Yes?” Rosie said
“It’s about my Kingsley and your Jewel” Bianca said
“What about them?, You’ve taken your son away from her and my daughter is left depressed , what else do you want?” Rosie said
” You nee-d to withdraw all your daughters from B-KAY HIGH and make Jewel forget about Kingsley, that’s the only way to be safe” Bianca replied
” And who made you the commissioner for safety?” Rosie said

“Yes who gave you that office Bianca?, Look I know the school belongs to you and your arrogant husband but you have no right to tell me this so far my daughters hasn’t caused any ruckus in the school and they payed their fees just like every other students!” Rosie replied seriously
” Madam, plea-se don’t be stubborn, I know why I’m saying this, take my words!” Bianca said
” I don’t want to!, Anything that will happen should happen!, Now you nee-d to leave my bar!” Rosie replied, pointing at the door
” This is really important, this might cause…
“Let it cause anything but try and get out of my bar” Rosie interrupted
Bianca stood and sighed. ” I hope you don’t regret this” she said and left with her trail of guards
“How arrogant….. withdraw your daughters from B-KAY high, her mouth like something else…I hate them!, I wonder how they managed to give birth to such a sweet guy” Rosie breathed
” Madam, you just chased out the wife of Kay Brown” one of the waiters said and Rosie sh0t her a dangerous glare

Bianca got back to Kay’s office and met him staring out of the transparent glas-s, his back on her
“I’m back Kay” she said and he faced her
“So what did she say?” Kay asked, coming closer
” She chased me out of her bar” she replied

“Yes, she doesn’t want to even listen” Bianca replied and Kay took a fast stride towards her, he tried to gr-ab her nĀ£Ā¢k but she bent down swiftly and moved away from him
“Trying to gr-ab my nĀ£Ā¢k again huh?” She said, breathing heavily
” It’s because that’s what you deserve!, She chased you out and you left, why didn’t you order the guards to beat her to pulp!” Kay yelled
” Hurt a woman like me?, We hate girls, teenagers!, not women!, And I think I’ve had enough revenge!, Let the poor boy go!” Bianca yelled
” Your daughter is living fine with my money and here you are, fighting for a son that’s not even yours!” Kay barked
” Leave my daughter out of this and as for the money, we worked for it together!, We started together from the scratch Kay!, Don’t utter that statement again and it’s time to go separately!, I have my shares so I’m leaving!” She yelled
” br@va!, br@vo Bianca, it was all my idea from the beginning, if it wasn’t my idea, we won’t grow big companies not to talk of getting rich today!” Kay said
” And I stood by you!, I helped and served as your second hand and that’s why we’re big like this today and now enough is enough!, I’m breaking the contract! And I’ll take care of my shares, and that boy .. I’m bringing him back home, we’ve ruined his life enough and I’m re-ady to raise him as my own!” she said and made to leave but over seven of his guards c@mĀ£ in
” Take her!, And lock her in the tra-p room!, Make sure to tie her up” Kay ordered and Bianca was dragged out
” Kay you’ll regret this!, You’ll regret this a lot and I’m gonna kill you myself!, If I don’t kill you!, That boy will kill you!” She kept shouting as she was taken away
Kay took his cu-p of alcohol from the table and gulped it down before smashing the cu-p on the wall
“Damn!, She succeeded in ma-king me mad” he said.

The revision clas-s is just ending and since it’s Friday, school will be over soon
“Jewel let’s go to the lounge tonight” Veera suggested
” I’m not interested” she replied immediately
“But why?” Love said
“It’ll be fun I swear” Love said
“I know, but I don’t want to go” she replied, knowing some memories of Kingsley are there
” Come on” Veera persuaded
“I’m not going” Jewel said again
Her face is not happy at all, no make up, not even the slightestl-ipstick is on herl-ips and no earrings on her ears, no band in her hair, only the anklet is the only thing in her bĀ©dy except her uniform and undies
“She’ll come I promise” Pearl said
“You must make her come by all means, she nee-ds to cheer up” Veera said
” Rommy, why the gloominess, you haven’t said anything since” Love asked
” I just didn’t feel like talking” she replied
“Don’t mind her, didn’t you notice that Jax ignored her on Monday?” Veera said and Pearl started laughing
” It’s not close to funny” Romina said
“I’m sorry dear but you deserve it, you have feelings for him but you still pretend, you’re a good pretender” Pearl replied
Jax and Richmond walked past their clas-s and the girls rushed out to take a look

” I know I don’t un-derstand and can never un-derstand what you feel but plea-se….stĀ©p crying, he’ll come back I promise” Pearl said
” It might take too long Pearl” she replied
” You nee-d something to distract you even if it’s for a minute, and that’s why you’ll be following us to The Kings lounge tonight” Pearl said, petting her

“Make her makeup thick, it has been long since she did makeup” Pearl said as Love sat Jewel in front of the mirror to make up her face
“Sure, I’ll do Eskimo” Love replied
“Cool” Pearl said
Jewel kept quiet as her face was dolled up by Love and close to forty minutes they’re still on it
“Done” Love said and Pearl smiled
“h0t!, I’ll choose her dress” she said and went to her closet to choose something for her
A short black go-wn with shinny stone designs, it stĀ©pped just at the middle of her th!ghs, Love straightened her hair and she looks different!
Earrings and a thin nĀ£Ā¢klace was fisted for her and she was sprayed
“Talk of one h0t baby, now smile plea-se” Love said and she smiled a bit
” Are we good to go?” Pearl said
“Sure” Love replied and they held her hands out of the house
They got in the car and drove to the lounge
On getting there, that held her In too and she tried to sit but they took her straight to the full dance floor where they started turning her around just to make her dance and she started moving slowly to the loud song
“Forget about your worries for now baby!, Forget all of it!” Love screamed over the speakers
” That’s true!, Forget every fvĀ¢king thing and p@rty!” Pearl added and Jewel smiled before sweeping up a handful of her hair in her hands, she threw it in the air and jumped up too, on getting back down, she started dancing wildly and Love stuck hands with Pearl
“We did it” they chorused
Jewel gr@bbĀ£d a bottle of alcohol from someone and started drinking as she danced
“Let her be” Love said
“I un-derstand, it’s not the best but it’s the best in this situation” Pearl replied as they watched her together
She soon got slightly drun!kbut she kept dancing and drinking
“That American guy over there has been staring since ages” Pearl said, referring to the guy smoking at a corner
” He can stare all he wants, Jewel is still Kingsley’s property” Love replied and Pearl laughed
” This Eskimo make up of a thing…. It’s ma-king me feel somehow, it’s the same makeup I usually do for her when she’s still into scamming” Love said
” It’s fine, none of the guys in clubs will come here” Love replied
” Where’s she?” Pearl said when he looked at where Jewel is supposed to be but she’s not there anymore…

Jewel actually went to the restroom to ease herself of the water in her bladder
She staggered into the restroom and held the wall for balance as she walked

Even in her drun!kstate, she recognizes the voice and it’s not surprising that the voice cleared alcohol off her face
She looked back to see the guy she never thought she’ll ever see again
