Summer was still in tears when her mom came in,she got up and immediately wiped her tears
“You don’t have to pretend,I saw those tears already” Mrs Wilder said
Summer sat down on the bed and her mom joined her.
“Say something,your silence is making me so worried” Mrs Wilder said,ruffling her hair
“We didn’t break up” Summer said and sniffed in
“You didn’t?”
Summer shook her head
“Then what happened? Why would you disappear without any reason?” Mrs Wilder asked
“His mom….she doesn’t want us together” Summer replied,tearing up again
“His mom? Why? Did you do anything wrong or..something?” Mrs Wilder asked still confused
“She said,I’m a commoner and not meant for her son”
“What? Commoner?! Is she crazy?! Who the h*ll does she think she is to call you a commoner?!” Mrs Wilder bursted
Summer wiped her tears
“The truth is…Kingsley and his mom don’t get along. But still…she threatened me to let go of him”
“I can’t believe this” Mrs Wilder scoffed
“But I love him so much,I’m feeling so guilty and depressed right now. I can’t even tell him what happened because I know him,,He’s going to take it the wrong way and confront his mom,and I don’t want that. I don’t know what to do” She started crying again
“Come here baby” Mrs Wilder pulled her into a hu-g
“I’m so sorry for leaving him that way” Summer cried on her shoulder
“It’s okay,you did the right thing. But then,you should think about this de-eper and decide again. You love him,it’s obvious,I’m sure he feels the same way too. So I will let you decide on your own,okay?” Mrs Wilder said
Summer sniffed,hu-gging her more ti-ghtly
“It must be so ha-rd for you,it’s okay. Stop crying” Mrs Wilder said,patting her back gently
After some minutes,Summer stopped crying.
“I will prepare you a delicious meal,take a short nap before then” Mrs Wilder said
“Thank you mom” Summer smiled and lay down on the bed
Her mom ki-ssed her hair before going out of the room.
Summer sat up and took off the br@celet around her wrist and the ne-cklace,she stood up and went to keep it somewhere safe before going to sleep again

EVENING**
Summer sat down in the balcony,staring at the stars,she sighed out. Everything seems to remind her of Kingsley no matter how she try to forget about him.
“Sunshine”
Summer immediately turned back when she heard that,but it was Michael
“Michael?” Summer called
Michael sat down beside her
“That’s what Mr Handsome called you when you came here together” He muttered and Summer ru-b his hair
“Just call me Summer” She muttered
Michael rest his head on her lap-s
“Did he do something wrong? You can’t forgive him?” He asked
“No,he did nothing wrong. I’m the one who’s wrong” Summer replied
“But..he came here. Don’t you want to reconcile with him? I miss him” Michael pouted
“It’s okay,we will solve it together” She said and ki-ssed his hair
“You should just get married so you won’t have to fight again” Michael said and Summer laughed
“Okay then” She said

NEXT DAY~CALIFORNIA**
JOSEPHINE’S PLACE**
Keith watched in silence as Josephine cooked
“What about Kylan? I was also expecting him” Josephine said
“He’s probably busy with his new girlfriend” Keith replied and Josephine chuckled
“What about your girlfriend?” She asked
“She’s fine” Keith said
“I wonder if Kingsley found Summer,He’s not picking his calls” Josephine muttered
“Actually…..” Keith stopped and Josephine faced him
“What is it?”
“I think….she left because of Mrs Robert” Keith said and Josephine moved closer
“What are you talking about?” She asked
“When you were in the hospital….she requested to see Summer and I took her there. She returned to the car in tears,I tried to ask her but she didn’t answer me” Keith said
“But…why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Josephine asked
“It’s because I’m not sure if that’s what happened…..”
“What did you just said? You mean that witch threatened Summer?” Kingsley came in and they turned back
“You’re back” Josephine said
“I’m asking you what you just said!” Kingsley snapped at Keith
“You heard me,but I have no idea if that’s what happened” Keith said
Immediately Kingsley turned back,walking out of the kitchen
“Kingsley!” Josephine ran after him and blocked his way
“Where are you going?” She asked
“To see the witch and give her a piece of my mind” Kingsley replied
“No you can’t……”
“She’s at the fuc-king point of destroying my life!!” Kingsley yelled
“I’m sure this is why Summer didn’t tell you anything” Josephine said and tears dropped from Kingsley’s eyes
“I will talk to her instead,okay? You should take a rest,I will confront her on my own,don’t worry” Josephine said
Kingsley walked away
Josephine sighed and returned to the kitchen
“I don’t think he was able to find her” Keith said and Josephine shook her head
“I don’t think so” She muttered and continue cooking
“Are you going to her?” Keith asked
“Yes I will,but I can’t let Kingsley,he will pas-s all his aggression on her” Josephine replied
“Well you’re right,Summer was there when he went to Mrs Robert while you were at the hospital,it wasn’t a nice sight so I guess she’s afraid he might do the same” Keith said
“Yeah poor girl,she will think,,,no matter what she’s still his mother. I un-derstand her” Josephine sighed
Minutes later,she was done cooking. She dropped Keith’s own for him
“I guess you will have to eat alone,I’m going to her before Kingsley change his mind” Josephine said and Keith nodded
“Enjoy” She ruffled his hair before walking away

Kingsley was in the cellar drinking when Keith came in,he sat down next to him and also poured himself some wine
“So,you didn’t get to see Summer or what?” He asked
Kingsley gulped down the whole content in his glas-s and poured another one
“Her mom said she’s not him….but I know she’s there. She obviously don’t want to see me” Kingsley said and Keith sighed
“So….what are you going to do?” Keith asked
“Do I look normal to you right now? I’m running mad inwardly,I’m emotionally drained already,I don’t know what to do. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I am so sure we were cool,I mean we spent almost every minute together before the graduation……I couldn’t even get to propose to her,maybe she would have rejected me” Kingsley said and drank again
“I’m sure she wouldn’t leave without a reason” Keith said
“Maybe she doesn’t love me anymore,even if that witch threatened her…she should have told me. I’m the one suffering right now” Kingsley muttered

THE ROBERT’S MANSION**
Mrs Robert was in her study reading a magazine as usual when the door opened for-cefully and Josephine entered.
Mrs Robert looked up to see the angry Josephine
“What is it this time?” She asked
Josephine walked closer to her
“What did you do to Summer?” She asked
“Who’s that?” Mrs Robert asked
“Your son’s girlfriend!” Josephine yelled
“Oh,what happened to her?”
Josephine scoffed
“Did you really threatened her to leave Kingsley alone?” She asked and Mrs Robert’s eyes changed
“What,you think I won’t find out? One of your workers told me every fuc-king thing!! Mom!! How could you stoop so low!!! Do you even know how much Kingsley love that girl? It’s his first time and he’s so in love with her,how could you be so wicked?? You even offered her money? Like what the h*ll?” Even though she wasnt sure about the money part but she know what her own mother can do.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Josephine” Mrs Robert said
“Of course you won’t know,I really made a mistake,I should have allowed Kingsley to come here on his own and you know what that means,I really can’t wait for you to regret everything you’re doing right now. You’re so useless” Josephine said and stormed out of the study
Mrs Robert threw the magazine in her hand away angrily.

“Can you please just turn on your phone? Please” Josephine muttered as she dialed Summer’s number continuously while driving
She sighed out loudly and reversed the car at once,she turned to the direction of Jasper’s house instead.

WEEKS LATER**
A BAR HOUSE**
Kingsley drank in silence,it was as if he was the only one in the world. He could ha-rdly hear anyone,he was just lost in his own world all alone. He was looking like a gone bad boy,he was totally drunk,he saw some group of girls walking into the bar and he let out a painful chuckle.
It’s not a surprise he’s been seeing her face on every other girl’s face,everything seems to have Summer’s face on them. He always see her everywhere he goes to,maybe he’s really running mad because he doesn’t seem to heal no matter what.
“Hey pretty eyes” A bitc-h sat down beside him and he faced her with a smile
“Pretty eyes?” He asked
“Yeah,your eyes are pretty” The girl said and Kingsley looked away
He would have prefer to hear *Angel Eyes*
He continue drinking
“You’re not here with anyone?” The girl asked again and began ru-b-bing his lap
Kingsley faced her again and she lean closer
“Should we go in?” She asked in a seductive voice and bite her li-ps
Kingsley chuckled
He only found her funny doing that,only Summer can ever se-duce him at the moment and he will fall for it,maybe that is why it’s getting worse for him everyday.
“Hey say something,I know you want me too” The girl got on his lap-s but he was too weak to even push her off
She was about ki-ssing him when someone grabbed her top from the back and she turned angrily
“Get off” Kylan said
“What the fuc-k” the girl got down from Kingsley’s li-ps and Kylan released her
Keith sighed out,staring at Kingsley
“I wonder when this is going to end” He muttered and carried Kingsley on his back before going out with Kylan.
Josephine was waiting outside
“He’s here” She muttered
“I told you this is where he always come to” Keith said and dropped Kingsley in the car.
Kingsley got down again,he threw up,and he fell on the ground unconsciously
“Hey Kingsley!”
“What happened?” Josephine got down from the car again
“What happened to him?”
Kylan and Keith immediately carried Kingsley into the car,and they all entered
Kylan entered the driver’s side and drove off
“I can’t take this anymore” Josephine broke into tears as she stared at Kingsley
“Why the h*ll is he doing this to himself?” She muttered and ru-b his hair

PARIS~THE WILDER’S HOUSE**
Mrs Wilder was in the kitchen alone cooking,their maid took the day off. Summer entered the kitchen looking sick and weak,she’s been sick for few days now.
“Why did you come down? Did you take the drugs?” Mrs Wilder asked
Summer nodded and sat down
“Did you eat before taking it?”
“I can’t eat that,I don’t like the taste the smell is bad too” Summer muttered
“You’ve been saying this Summer,I prepared your favorite food this time and you still don’t like the taste?”
Summer shook her head
“How are you feeling? Aside that?”
“I don’t know,but it’s worst in the morning,my head always ban-ging and I just feel so weak” Summer explained slowly
Mrs Wilder stared at her speechlessly
“We should go to the hospital for a test this time around” She said
“I will be fine” Summer said
“You’ve been saying this for some days and you’re still not fine,we nee-d to run a test……” She was still talking when Summer ran out
“Summer!” Mrs Wilder followed her
Summer rushed into the nearest bathroom and began throwing up,after she was done,she washed her face in the sink
“Have you…been throwing up?” Mrs Wilder asked curiously
Summer nodded weakly,she tried walking but a strong headache strikes her and she held her head
‘Are you okay?” Mrs Wilder immediately moved close to her.
“My…head” She muttered and like that,she pas-sed out.
“Baby!” Mrs Wilder called
