(Why did he faint?)
💝 Kendra’s POV 💝
“Are you okay?” I asked starring at him curiously.
“Yes, of cause, he replied and started driving again.”
“So you haven’t answered my question Nick, I said still starring at him.”
“I think you should ask cole that. He’ll explain better, he replied nervously.”
Why do I feel his hiding something?

I c@m£ down in front of the estate and he left.
Hmm gosh! It’ll take long before I get to the mansion.
I started walking fast and soon I got to the mansion.
I exhaled tiredly and pas-sed the securities.
I opened the door and everywhere seems busy.
Hmm what’s happening ?
Immediately I sighted Mrs Rebecca.
Huh, she’s here?
I walked up to her and t©uçhed her and she turned back.
“Oh kendra dear! Where have you been for Christ sake?”
“I’ve been searching for you, she said ma-king me confused.”
“Take this to Rico’s be-droom fast, she said pas-sing a tray to me.”
Its contained drugs and a jug of water.
“You have to make him drink that once he wakes up, she said and concentrated on a maid that walked up to us.”
I started going up stairs, up to his room.
Did something happen? Or is something happening?
Why are the workers busy and where is kora?
I got to his door and turned the door knob.
Two maids were in his room and he was lying on a be-d.
“What happened to him?” I asked dropping the tray on the table beside his be-dside.
“He fainted, one replied and I g@sped.”
“Fainted? Why the hell will he faint?”I wondered and sat on the be-d beside him.
“Have the doctor checked him?” I asked looking at one of them.
“Yes, he said his gonna be fine.”
I turned back to stare at him.
“Do you no what happened to him?” I asked turning towards them again and they shook their heads negatively.
“We’ll get going since you’re here, one said and they left.”
I kept starring at him wondering what happened.
When I saw him last in school he didn’t look sick.
Wasn’t he the one that almost killed cole?
Why could he faint?
The door opened and kora walked in.
“Hey you’re back, she cooed and I nodded.”
“What happened to him kora?”
“Why did he faint?” I asked curiously.
“Well, their father is around. You saw Mrs Rebecca right?”
“She’s also here for him, she explained.”
“But what really happened kora?”
“I mean why did he faint? His not sick or anything, why?”
“He was tortured by his father because of the fight he had with cole.”
“His father almost killed him and Mrs Rebecca luckily arrived on time to save him, she explained.”
“So all this happened while I was away?” I asked turning to look at Rico again.
“Yes, I could have called but you had no phone with you, she replied and I sighed.”
“Why will a father make his own son to faint?”
“What type of punishment is that?” I asked starring at him.
“Well, you’ll be surprised that this isn’t the first time this happened. Its always happened and Rico will still end up fighting again so I un-derstand why his father went extra miles today, she replied.”
“Even tho” I replied and took my hand to his hair and brushed it back.
You really have to st©p fighting Rico.
Geez! Look at you, I thought.
“I’ll be downstairs kendra. Take your time okay?” Kora said and left.
I sighed and realized I was still carrying my bag. I stood up and kept the bag on one of the couch there.
Mom.
Mom.
I heard and turned to see his eyes opening.
Oh my! I rushed towards him immediately and gr@bb£d his hands.
“Rico? Are you okay?” I asked as he finally opened his eyes.
I helped him sit up properly.
He didn’t reply me but instead he kept looking around.
“You’re in your room Rico, I said reminding him.”
The drugs!
I turned and took the drugs and brou-ght out two tablet as written on the b©dy of the drug.
I decanted enough water into a cu-p and extended it to him.
“Here take” I said but he didn’t reply.
“Your mom said I should give this to you Rico” I cooed and took his hand and placed the tablets on his palm.
“You have to drink it, I pressed and he sighed and took it.”
I gave him the water and he swallowed.
I collected the cu-p and looked at him.
“Are you okay?” I asked and he raised his eyes to look at me.
“What the hell are you doing here?” He asked ma-king me puzzled.
Didn’t he see me here since or did he perhaps forget me.
I asked you a question, he said in a ha-rd tone.
Oh no.
Doesn’t he recognize me anymore.
