????Chapter 3
Immediately she got inside her new room,she coll@psed on the Queen sized gigantic be-d,the mattress was super soft so she drifted off to sleep in that sp©t.It has been a tiresome journey to Deville’s place and the son of a bit-ch didn’t help matters with his silence.
“Grrin Grrin.” The phone by the side of her be-d rang,she lazily picked it,
“Sleepy head,get four lazy as-s down here.” He ordered,she signed and kept the phone,she got up from the be-d,went into the bathroom to shower,c@m£ out a while later,changed onto a more simpler clothes and went downstairs. Deville was in the dining room when she c@m£ down,she went there,sat down and looked at the food in front of her,
“I’m going to the office.” She looked at him,he stood up and turned to leave,
“Then what am I supposed to do alone in this house?” She asked him annoyingly, he frowned.
“For one,you aren’t alone and for two,you can go sightseeing, this house is a great sight to see.” He turned to her,
“Millie can show you around the house.” He c@m£ back to the dining table,
“And remember,pur deal starts tonight,so get prepared.” He collected his phone and left.She stood up and left the dining table not tou-ching her food,
“I’ve gotten myself into a big mess.” She went to her room,she l@yon the be-d fighting sleep to come and it did.
When she woke up of was alre-ady five o’clock, so she c@m£ downstairs, Deville wasn’t home yet,she sat in the living room for awhile then decoded to do her sight seeing. Calling Millie is a bad idea,so she decided to do it herself, she went round the living room then to the servant’s quarters, she went to the kitchen and went outside the mansion from the backdoor,the backyard was in an awesome shape, she was amazed,the flowers were neatly trimmed and the swimming pool was very neat and well taken cared of.She met almost all the workers and they welcomed her warmly except Millie who was somewhat cold in their first meeting.She wandered around the house for sometime,then went back upstairs when the sun began to set,she had a long shower,wore a new set of lingerie (Frank’s gift).
She went to the kitchen, Millie was preparing dinner,so she made herself a cu-p of coffee,went to the living room and turn on the TV,
“Dinner is served.” Millie informed her but she didn’t take her gaze from the TV,she stayed there until she dozed off on the couch.
Deville c@m£ home late,when he c@m£ inside,he saw Anne slee-ping on the couch,she was like an heavenly creature with her lingerie p@rtially ex-posing her snow white th!gh,her hair fell over her shoulder and herl-ips was curved in a smile.He couldn’t take his gaze off her,he went to where she was and carried her in a bridal style,she woke up.
“Put me down plea-se.” She murmured but he didn’t bulge,
“Put me down,I can walk on my own.” She murmured again sleepily, he took her upstairs past her room,
“Where are you taking me to?” She asked lazily when she realized what he was about to do.He brou-ght her inside his room and placed her on the be-d,he placed her on the be-d and ca-ress her cheeks,he k!$$£d herl-ips slowly but pas-sionately, she fought for a little while but couldn’t anymore when he trailed his k!sses to her jawline and to her n£¢k,he k!$$£d her shoulder and went to her upper brea-st.Deville couldn’t get a full taste of the brea-st,so he to-re her lingerie leaving her only in her p@n-ties,she g@sped,
“It’s okay Anne.” He whispered to her and k!$$£d her ear-lobes,his hands travelled to her br£@st and so did hisl-ips,he k!$$£d her n!ppl!s,went down to her ñ@v£l then surged for her v@g!n@ ,he tickled her cl!t with his ton-gue and that s£nt her m0@n ing loudly,he li-cked her thor0ûghly while she m0@n ed,he use his f!nger and thrû-sted into her,she cried.
“Deville plea-se st©p.” He didn’t rather he kept on thrû-sting with his f!nger cause she was so ti-ght,he st©pped and she st©pped crying,he took out himself and went inside her,she let out a loud cry and he c@m£ out,the maidenhead had been breached.
“Holy $h!t,she was a vir-gin.” He put his d!¢k back inside and thrû-st dee-per, he was fast and ha-rd while she cried and held unto him,he went in ha-rd and c@m£ out ha-rder, she held unto him cause he was fast and out of control.He c@m£ out fully and l@ybeside her,she went to sleep not long they c@m£ out in full circle of each other.
The next morning Anne woke up with pains all over her b©dy,Deville la-id peacefully beside her,she gently got out of the be-d and went to her room.When she got there,she staggered to the bathroom and had a long h0t bath,scalding her snow white skin with the h0tness of the water.She l@yin the tub for over thirty minutes,she c@m£ out wra-pping a thick towel around herself,she wore a winter sweater and a p@n-t as thick as the sweater, closing the window,turning the air con off and leaving the light on.She l@yon the be-d quietly and covered herself with the big blanket then she sle-pt off.
Deville woke up not seeing Anne by his side,he stood up from the be-d and checked his bathroom but she wasn’t there.He rushed to her room,she was lying peacefully on the be-d,
“How can she sleep fine in this over heated room,” He cussed,opened the windows and turn on the air con.
“Anne! Anne!” He woke her up,taking away the blanket from her,she was sweating profusely and her temperature was high.
“Anne! Wake up Anne.” He ordered,she stirred,
“What?” She asked,he unZi-pped the sweater and saw her skin and it s£nt him furious.
“Anne what did you do to yourself?” He asked angrily while shaking her vigorously,
“plea-se allow me rest plea-se,I’m tired.” She pleaded lazily.
“What have you done to yourself?” He asked,she Zi-pped her sweater and looked at him,
“Deville, I’m tired and I nee-d to rest,the h0t water is gonna reduce the pain.” She said slowly but rudely,
“And you lock up yourself in a stuffy room to do what?” He asked her,she’s being rude here and it infuriated him,she turned to the other side of the be-d and he left not before pu-lling the blanket from her.
“Millie isn’t breakfast served?” Deville asked angrily as he c@m£ to the dining room but nothing was there,
“Sorry sir,I’m almost throu-gh.” She called from the kitchen,he went to the living room and put on the TV.
“Sir,breakfast is served.” Millie said from the dining room, Deville went to the dining room and sat down while Millie served his breakfast.
“Go and call Anne down for breakfast.” He told Millie,she muttered something and grudgingly went upstairs to call Anne.Millie went into the room but Anne wasn’t there, so she rushed downstairs to inform Deville.
“Sir,your mistress isn’t in her room.” She told him,Deville stood up and glared at her.
“You mean what?” He asked her,
“Sir, I went to her room but she wasn’t there.” Millie explained to the alre-ady furiated Deville.
“Anne! Annabel! Anne!” He called as he rushed upstairs to crosscheck but she wasn’t there so he c@m£ back downstairs.
“Get me the security guard now.” He ordered her,she rushed outside and got Sandro.
“Did you see Anne leave the house?” He asked Sandro immediately they c@m£ inside the living room,
“Yes,I opened the gate for her.” Deville gave him a thun-derous sl@p when he finished his statement,the poor man staggered and fell down and Millie g@sped,
“How dare you? How dare you open the gate for her,who gave you the permission to do that?” He asked him in rage,
“She said she nee-ds to get her painkiller from her house,that was why I opened the gate for her.” The gaurd explained to his angry boss,he left them without saying anything again,
“Alex! Get me the keys now.” He ordered as he c@m£ outside,Alex brou-ght the car key and Deville gr@bb£d it from him,opened the car,got into his car and drove off.
“This girl must have casted a spell on Sir Deville that made him go crazy for her.” Millie spat in disgust as her boss drove away.
Anne was still trying to go back to sleep after Deville left but sleep couldn’t come,she was still staring at the ceiling when her phone rang,she checked the caller,of was Mrs Federica, the elderly woman woman living next to her,she picked the call,
“Hello ma,how are you?” Anne greeted her,
“I am fine my daughter, Annie can you come home now?” The elderly woman told her,Anne thought for awhile before saying yes,
“But ma,is anything the problem?” She asked the woman cause she hasn’t been called for an urgent meeting like this before.
“No my child,there’s no problem.” She as-sured,
“Okay,I’m coming there now.” She hung up and got dressed.Deville was in the living room when she c@m£ down and Millie,in the kitchen.She waited for Millie to come out from the kitchen, then she went throu-gh the back door to the backyard, she walked by the flowers to avoid being seen,
“Ma’am where are you going to?” The security guard asked her as she c@m£ to the gate,she turned to him and faked a wry smile,
“Uhm,I’m going to my ap@rtment, I must have left my painkiller there,so I’m going to get it.” She lied,the guard scrutinized her for awhile,
“You sure?” She smile,
“Yes,not like I’m gonna run away or something,your boss knows my ap@rtment, he can come there if he wants to see me.” With this,he opened the gate for her and she left,got into a cab and drove home.
When she got to her house,she met Mrs Federica sitting in her porch,Frank was sitting next to her, she went toward them and greeted the elderly woman not paying any attention to Frank.
“My child,sit down.” She sat beside her,keeping the elderly woman between her and Frank.
“Ma,you sounded very urgent when you called,what’s the matter?” She asked me,Mrs Federica smiled,
“It’s nothing my child.”
“My child,I have known you for over a few years you c@m£ to live here.” Anne nodded
“You and Frank had come along way with each other in this relationsh!p, I don’t know what must have triggered your grief with him but I have seen something in his eyes,” Anne looked at Frank and then to the woman next to her.
Something in his eyes?I mean cheating in his eyes,she said within herself and scoffed.
“This was the same thing I saw in my late husband’s eyes and that something kept us going till he pas-sed away last year,I…”
“Ma,sorry for interrupting you,but can you be more specific, I have less time with me.” She interrupted the woman while Frank continued staring at her not saying anything.
“Okay, I don’t know what must have transpired between you and this young man here but I want you guys to settle that issue today and go back to what you were before.” She stood up,
“This guy here really loves you,hive him a chance to prove that,don’t let his mistake overtake his love.” She left before Anne could utter any word, leaving her with Frank.Anne stood up to leave but Frank held her hand,
“Frank let go of my hand,you’re hurting me.” But he didn’t leave her hand,rather his grip bec@m£ ti-ghter,
“Anne,plea-se just listen to me,I’m so sorry for what happened the other day.” He pleaded, she choked tears,
“Frank let go,in don’t wanna talk about that night or any other,just leave me alone.” She said,she wriggled her hands free and turned to leave but he rushed in front of her,
“Anne,plea-se don’t do this to me,I love you a lot,don’t leave me plea-se,”
“You should have thought about that when you brou-ght that slut to your house to fv¢k her.” She said with tears falling down from her eyes.Anne,you’re such an emotional freak.He placed his hand on her shoulder,
“Anne,plea-se let’s go inside and settle,then we can talk about this peacefully.” He pleaded,
“We can just forget about this and start afresh,o promise I won’t give you any reason to complain,I swear.”She wiped the tears from her eyes,
” Frank st©p!”she yelled at him,he was stunned.
“I don’t want any new start,I want to be on my own so let me go and forget I ever existed in your life.” She cried,
“Are you seeing someone else?” He asked her,she didn’t answer and it choked him,
“Anne,are you seeing another guy?” He asked again,she thought of Deville and his contract, she shook her head,
“So why are you being like this,why are you ending this relationsh!p?” He raised her chin up again and saw the red marks on her n£¢k,
“And why is there hic-keys on your n£¢k?” She swallowed ha-rd ,last night’s memories c@m£ up in her mind,
“I burnt myself accidentally.” She lied,he was unconvinced,
“And you didn’t come back home last night?” He asked again,she whimpered,
“I went to Naomi’s house.”
“Anne Pearl McKenzie! Tell me the truth now.” The thought of another man tou-ching his Anne is driving him crazy.

“I said I burnt myself accidentally,” she stood up to leave but he held her back,
“Frank,plea-se let me go.” He didn’t leave her,
“Anne tell me what I’m thinking is not the truth?”
“Frank,I don’t care about what you are thinking of,just let me go.” She cried,
“Let her go this instant or else you don’t have a plan of using those miserable hands of your in the future.” Someone said from behind Frank,Anne raised her head up and her eyes met with Deville angry eyes,he was standing in her porch with arms in akimbo.
“Who do you think you are to get yourself involved in mine and my fiancé’s conversation?” Frank asked rudely as he turned to see the man standing behind him,Anne got scared and nervous,These two are gonna created a scene here.She turned to Frank,he was still holding her hand,
“Frank plea-se let go of me.” She wriggled her hands from his grip,
“Leave her hands now.” Deville ordered,Frank looked at him and sm-irked,Anne got her hands free from his and ran far from him,she stood near to Deville.
“Anne,get into the car now.” He ordered in a baritone voice,Anne trembled at his voice and ran to his car,she got inside and closed the door.
“I’m gonna give you a final warning,stay away from Anne.” Deville turned to leave but Frank made the worst mistake of his life and punch him,Deville turned and sl@pped him,his sl@p made Frank fell to the ground.He wiped his nose and saw blood on his palms,
“You bastard,you can’t take my fiancé from me,Anne! Anne!” Frank cried from the floor,Deville turned and left him there.
“I’m coming for you,I’m gonna get back at you!” Frank yelled louder,Deville got into his car and drove home with Anne.
When they got home,Anne rushed out of the car and ran inside,Deville st©pped the car halfway the garage,
“Javi,park this car.” He threw the key to him and rushed after Anne, she WS running upstairs when he c@m£ inside,
“Anne! Come back here.” She halted at his voice but didn’t turn,
“Anne,get back here.” He said again,she turned and slowly walked down the stairs and stood almost three feet from him,he c@m£ to her,
“How dare you leave my house without my permission?” He asked,she shivered but didn’t answer him.
“And was that the painkiller you went to get?” He asked again,she didn’t answer and it s£nt him nuts,he took her hands.
“Deville,plea-se let go,you’re hurting me.” She cried,he frowned,
“This should be the last time you leave this house without my permission.” He still held her hands but not as ti-ght as before,she sniffles.He raised her head up.Holy fv¢k! She’s crying,he let her go,she ran up to her room and slammed the door behind her.Deville ran up with her,
“Anne,I’m sorry I yelled at you.” He pleaded at her door,she closed the door so no one could come in.
“Anne,I’m sorry.” She didn’t open the door or c@m£ out.Deville pleaded for long before he left to his room but Anne didn’t come out,she didn’t the whole day and didn’t take the food Millie brou-ght for her.
“Has she opened the door?” Deville asked Millie as he c@m£ down the next morning,
“I don’t think so,” Millie responded still preparing breakfast.

“Hasn’t Renée been here today?” He interrupted her,Millie shook her head,
“She called this morning,said she had an emergency with her son and she would be late for work today.” Millie reported to him about his house cleaner, he nodded and went upstairs.
“Anne,are you in there?” He asked,his instinct told him to twitch the knob and he did,the door opened and he went inside.Anne was lying by the side of the be-d when he c@m£ in,he went to her and carried her to the be-d,that woke her up cause she stirred and turned to him.
“Anne,I’m sorry for what happened yesterday.” He pleaded again,she didn’t react to his plea.He took the phone by the side and called Millie,
“Get Anne something to ear.” He kept the phone and turned to her,
“Annie,I’m so sorry I yelled at you.” He pleaded,Millie brou-ght her breakfast not long later,she only took her cu-p of coffee and left the rest unt©uçhed.
“Don’t you like the food?” Deville asked when he saw she didn’t t©uçh the scrambled egg.
“Millie,prepare something else for her.” He told Millie,who frowned immediately.
“I don’t want anything.” She finally spoke,she hadn’t spoken a word since she woke up.
“I’m okay with the coffee,” she said,
“You sure?” He asked trying to be sure of what she wants,she continued sipping her coffee while he stare.
I nee-d to do something to make her happy.”he said to himself,
“Let’s go out for shopping.” She looked at him,he smiled,
“Let’s go out.” He ch!pped in,she just nodded.
When I’m done,I’ll be downstairs waiting for you.”He stood up and left, she stood up from the be-d and went to the bathroom but didn’t come out.
“Aren’t you done yet?” Deville’s voice was heard from her door,she wasn’t out from the bathroom.He knocked several times but no response then he opened the door and c@m£ in,
“Anne,aren’t you re-ady?” She mumbled something from the bathroom and he went downstairs to wait for her. She c@m£ out of the bathroom, got dressed in a pink floral mini go-wn,wore her sandals and packed her hair in a ponytail, she wore no makeup.Instead of going downstairs to meet Deville, she slumped on the be-d and la-id there,Deville having waited for almost an hour but don’t see her descending the stairs,he called her.
“Deville,I don’t think I want to go shopping today,let’s leave it another day,” he sighed,
“Anne,come down now.”he hung up,she sluggishly stood up from the be-d and went downstairs expecting him to yell at her but he didn’t rather he couldn’t take his gaze off her,
” Deville, let’s go.”that brou-ght him back to his s-en-ses,
“Yeah,let’s go.” He was hypnotised by her beauty and simplicity,they wen to his car and drove to the shopping mall.
Anne didn’t say anything or chose anything she at the mall,Deville.did the talking and he selected many expensive clothes and shoes for her.
“Anne do you like this one?” He brou-ght out a black shoe with flat bu-tt,she looked at the shoe then to him and nodded,since Anne wasn’t helping him out,he bought what he felt she would like.
“Anne,don’t you like it here,we can go some where else if you want to.” He told her when they c@m£ out from the bag’s section,
“Never mind.” She smiled thinly her l!pwas pale,she carried one of the bags while he held the rest.
“I’m damn hungry,let’s go gr-ab something to eat.” Deville said to her,she nodded.They paid for what the bought while Deville kept the bags in the car,he took Anne to the restaurant nearby and they ordered for snacks (its no use eating out when Millie is preparing lunch at home.)
They were still eating when Anne saw someone she knew,immediately he saw her she his her face,
“What’s Anne doing here with Deville Salvador?” Justin asked himself,he’s Franks closest friend and he knows that his friend is getting married to Anne but what he doesn’t know is the latest development in Anne’s and Frank’s relationsh!p. He called Frank,
“Hey dude,how are you?” He asked when Frank picked his call,
“I’m fine just trying to set up some issues here.So you’d finally remember me?” Frank asked him,he laughed at him.
“Well that should be for later,I’m at the restaurant near the shopping mall and guess who I saw?”
“Help me out, I’m not a good guesser.” Frank said and Justin sighed,
“I saw your fiancé,Anne and Deville Salvador having snacks together.” Justin spilled and his friend g@sped,
“What?”
“Yeah,Anne is looking kinda pale but what I saw in Deville’s eyes is something you shouldn’t be lying around for.”
“Okay,Justin do me a favor, stay there and watch them till I come.”Frank rushed to his car and drove to the restaurant Justin told him about.
When he got there,he didn’t see Anne neither did he see Justin,he called Justin.
” Dude,I’m at the restaurant now but I can’t find you anywhere, ”
“I’m tailing Deville,wanna know where he’s taking Anne to.I’ll meet you at the club tonight.” He hung up

“Deville,plea-se take me home.” Anne said to Deville when she saw Justin calling someone, her instincts told her he’s calling Frank and Frank coming here is gonna created a scene,so she decided to leave with Deville before he get there.
“What’s the problem?” Deville asked her with his mouth filled,
“Nothing,just take me home.” She said,he arched an eyebrow.
“We aren’t done here.” She stood up,
“Then I’ll take a cab home cause I’m done here.” She picked her purse and left the table.Deville stood up and went after her,
“let’s go home,can’t risk you being in the cab.”They walked to the car,got inside and drove off,Justin got into his car and followed them.

Justin followed them till they drove into Seville’s mansion,he parked opposite the mansion to get a clearer view of what going on.Anne got out of the car and walked in while Deville called Millie and Renée to get the bags inside to Anne’s room,
” Sir,Doctor Williams is here to see you,he’s in the living room.”Millie informed Deville,he nodded and walked inside,
“Anne,how are you?” Doctor Williams asked her as she walked inside,she walked up to him.
“I’m fine Sir, good to see you.” She smiled,they hvgged,
“I c@m£ to check on Deville,since e couldn’t cone to see me.the doctor said jokingly, she smiled and turned to leave but he called her back.
Anne,are you okay?” She turned to him,
“Yes,I’m perfectly fine just tired.” Deville gave RR a are an she returned it with a weary smile and left them.
“I got myself into this mess,I should have listened to Frank,forget what happened and we continue our relationsh!pbut I’ve stupidly accepted his silly contract and now this.” She complained to herself,got into her room and slumped on the be-d.
“Will,” Deville called his friend,they greeted with a handshake,
“Dev,how are you?” Williams asked him,they sat down,
“Well,I’m not dead yet thanks to Anne.” He smiled,
“I c@m£ to check on how things are going, you know.” Deville smiled
“Well,I’m doing fine and those pills are really helping me.” He replied,
“Let me get you something.” Deville offered but his friend objected,
“I have an appointment in the next ten minutes,maybe next time.” Deville half smiled and half frown,
“Has your dog put to be-d or is Natty in trouble?” Williams smiled at his friend questions,
“No,its a business meeting and st©p calling my boy Natty.” He sl@pped Deville shoulder,
“Okay I won’t call him that again.” He was still laughing ha-rd ,Williams shook his head,
“Don’t worry,very soon your child will come and I’ll give him a weird girlish name.” He stood up.Deville,though still laughing stood up and they walked to the door,
“Okay Will, thanks for the visit.” He thanked his friend,
“Its no big deal,I might be coming with Tim and Jake when next I come.” Deville smiled,
“That will been really long I saw them.” They said their plea-santries and Williams left and Deville went upstairs not to his room but to Anne’s. All this while,Justin was outside watching and surveying the whole place,he left shortly after the doctor did.
