Episode 19
After dinner Cindy sat in the dining room, it’s obvious that she was thinking about something with how she sat down,her elbow on the dining table propping her head up while Charles was in the sitting room watching TV not that his mind is really on that TV.
Cindy remembered how John had proposed to him on their trip that day and how she’d furiously turned him down, suddenly her phone rang, she checked the screen and the caller turned out to be John so she dropped the phone without picking it, the phone rang again still showing John on the screen as the caller, so she picked it up…
“Hello John” hearing John make Charles swung his head to her direction
“howdy dear, how are you?” John asked over the phone
“I’m good” she responded casually
” I’m sorry about what happened the other time, I guessed I was overwhelmed” he pleaded
“it’s alright, no problem”
“hmm, but I’m outside your house now”
“outside? Why?” she asked in surprise ma-king her voice loudable that Charles could hear clearly
“I just want to apologize in a better way, I’m sorry if that offend you too but you can’t make me come and just go like that, at least plea-se come out let me see you”
“alright, I’m on my way” Cindy replied and hung up her phone, she was putting on a singlet with a short so she’d to go in to change into something better to protect herself from the cold outside. as she was going up to her room she made a phone call with Angelina and they talked over,
Few minutes later, she c@m£ out putting on skin socks with small Sk-irt and a Jumper re-ady to go outside but was blocked by Charles when she got to the door,
“what’s the meaning of this?” she scowled
“you’re not going out Cindy, not to that devil” Charles replied
“devil, you say? I don’t think you’re getting yourself. He’s my friend okay?, so get yourself off my way” she snorted
“remember the rules and regulations that I have to be protecting you wherever you go”
She scoffed and move closer to Charles “first of all, you’re not a God neither are you my parents to protect me, secondly I’m not a baby here, I’ve spent more than three years in this country so I know my way if I get lost and thirdly you are talking about rules and regulations, the rules and regulations you disapproved when it was given by your mom, the rules and regulations you detested so much.” now she’d been raising her voice, shouting “did you even ever want to protect me before if not you’re f0rç£d, is It your own interests to do so, were you even happy with me that I c@m£ here, tell me were you….. ”
She was cut short as Charles suddenly draw her closer and k!$$£d her, she was stunned but quic-kly found herself and pushed him away “I’m warning you for the last time, don’t mess with me” she warned and stormed out while Charles sloth back to the sofa.

“wow, thank you so much you c@m£” John commented as Cindy entered his car sitting beside him “here, I bought this on my way ” he handed a chilled drink to Cindy who hesitate before collecting it “thanks, well, I didn’t just bought it, it symbolizes something”
“and what was that?” Cindy asked as she sipped in the drink without suspecting or noticing that the drink have been opened before giving to her
“the drink is cold and not h0t, so I don’t want you to be h0t to me as a result of the mistake I recently made”
“I told you I’ve forgiven you”
“then prove to me by drinking all the drink at once” John requested
“you mean this cold drink?”
“yeah just try” he smiled
“okay” Cindy replied and gulped down the drink “it’s too cold” she replied tou-ching her che-st but something bec@m£ strange, her eyes was closing together and everything besides her seems to be fading, she wanted to talk and say a word but she couldn’t and finally she slumped back on the chair
John smiled and shook his head “had it been you’ve accepted the proposal, everything wouldn’t have turn out like this”
Suddenly he scowled and kicked the engine to start,then drove off…..
