Kyong and I cu-mddled each other as we both stayed in silence.
“Kyong, do you see me in your future? “I asked quietly.
He was quiet for a while but then I looked up wondering what was keeping him from answering.
“I don’t really know Surri. It depends on how we keep this relationsh!p. If we truly love each other, respect and having for time each other. And most of all, Trust. ”
He paused and let go of me. He looked into my eyes.
“Do you trust me? “He asked and I nodded.
“I trust you kyong… Do you also trust me? “I asked .
“Very much Surri. “He said and I smiled.
“I trust you am not sure you trust me.. You know, the girls are always flocking around me. “He said with a sm-irk.
“Am a jealous type though. “I said shyly.
Kyong smiled.
“But don’t be suprised when Boys will begin calling me here and there… Asking me to be theres . “I said.

He shook his head.

I knew Surri meant business when she didn’t let my words drop.
“You’re… You’re so wrong! “She yelled.
“Just cause am not a celebrity doesn’t mean I don’t have fans. ”
“You know what..? Get your car keys. We’re going to where I grew up. “She said kneeling on the be-d.

His driver that he had left with returned hours later… The car was empty.
“Where’s kyong?! “I yelled in despair.
“He’s with his girlfriend. “He said.

I have to put and end to her quic-k and fast. Kyong is mine and will surely be mine.
“When will he be coming back? ”
“He’s spending the night there. “He replied.

“Take me to where he is right now! “I ordered going back to his car.
Episode 7
Surri’s pov
It hadn’t been long since mom called me for dinner. Kyong is being stubborn and said he doesn’t want to eat.
Am worried that its something bugging him but he said its nothing.
I sat beside him and folded my arms.
“Fine, am not eating either. “I said.
Kyong looked at me and sighed.
“St©p imitating me surri. Am not hungry. “He said.
I stayed put and he stood up.
“Fine let’s go and eat. “He said and I smiled.
Mom cooked kyong’s favourite and its starting to be my favourite too. We had ba-rely eating half of the meal when the door bell rang…
We all exchanged glances..
“Omma, are you expecting someone? “I asked.
She shook her head.
“No, not this late. ”
Mom got up and went to the door. After a while, she returned and guess who was standing beside her, Oprah!
I was suprised and so was kyong.
Her expression changed on seeing us- she looked not suprised.
“Oprah’s car broke down and she nee-ds to spend the night here. “Mom said.
I nodded smiling.
“Okay, welcome. You can sit. “I said. She quic-kly sat down and so did mom.
Mom dished some food for her and we all continued eating.
I was sitting beside kyong. As I was about to put the soup in my mouth, kyong’s arm hit mine and the soup poured on my th!gh.
I frowned and charged a t him.
“Look what you’ve done! 😡”I said quite angry.
“If your arm wasn’t so long, this wouldn’t have happened! “He said.
I was furious.
“Arrogant! “I Muttered
“Noddle arm.. “He cussed.
I suddenly started laughing and kyong did too. We’re such a crazy couple.
“Come on. Let’s go get you cleaned up. “He said.
We got up and went to the restroom. Oprah couldn’t st©p glaring at me which I found weird. Most strange detective I’ve ever seen.
Immediately we entered the restroom, I reached for the sink and turned it on. Kyong lifted me and I yelped. He dropped me on the sink desk and began k!ss!ngme r0ûghly
My heart was beating fast as he took me by suprise.
My legs wra-pped around his torso as the k!sswas taken my breath away. He finally dis£ngaged.

Seeing them together makes me sick. Jealousy is eating me alive..

Kyong and I were about to enter my room when mom st©pped us.
“Where do you think you’re going kyong? “Mom asked.
“Omma… “I whined like a baby and held onto kyong ti-ghtly.

I frowned.
“plea-se mom, nothing will happen… “I said.
Mom still persisted.
Kyong left my arm.
“Good night.. “He said.
Mom took his arm and led him downstairs. 😭 😭
As I stood there sad and teary, my eyes met with Oprah’s and I met her sm-irking! What is it with this witch??
She’s too creepy for my liking. She went inside her room and shut the door.
I went into mine and shut the door.
I was extremely sad. I la-id on my be-d staring at the ceiling.
After a while, I turned of the lights. I really wanted to sleep but I couldn’t.
Oprah’s pov
On our way here, I was prepared for this 😈
Am gonna introduce Surri to a little friend of mine.
I took out the glas-s bottle which was harboring a scorpion. Once you’re beaten, it’ll take a miracle for you to relieve from the pain.
I ti-p toed to Surri’s room and opened the door a little… I let out the scorpion into her room and it went in quic-kly, I shut the door.
Yes! I can’t wait to hear her scream 😏

Surri’s pov
I felt pressed and turned on the lights. I went to the bathroom and used the toilet before coming back to my room.
To my suprise, Kyong was on my be-d.
“You n@ûghty young man. “I said coming to him on the be-d.
“I just couldn’t get a shut eye. “He said and pu-ll-ed me close to his b©dy.
We engaged in a short k!ssbefore I tried to get un-der the cover of the blanket.
“Geez; a scorpion! “He yelled.
I looked to where his eyes were… There was a black scorpion on my be-d!!
Kyong and I j£rked up in shock.
Before I could say ‘jack ‘, kyong took off one of his snickers and hit it on the scorpion.
The scorpion was weak but was surely alive.
I was still in shock. That scorpion could have beaten me.
I alerted mom and we got rid of the scorpion.
Mom was shocked to the bone and she was more than grateful to kyong.
“You see why you should have let us stay together in one room. Who could have killed the scorpion?? “Kyong said to mom.
Mom hit him by the arm.
“Thank you alot kyong. If not for you, my baby girl would have been screaming in pain by now due to the stung by the scorpion. “Mom said non chalantly.
“So, mrs Jin, can Surri and I spend the night together now, huh? “Kyong asked mom.
“Fine… But Surri, stay far from him on the be-d. “Mom instructed.

I nodded.

“She must be insane to pu-ll such a prank! “Kyong spat angrily.
“She’s gonna be leaving tomorrow anyway and am gonna distant her from us…. Infact, I have a suprise for you tomorrow morning. “Kyong said.

Oprah’s pov
Its like that girl has a guardian angel or something. The stupid scorpion didn’t even give her scratch much more a bite.
Oh! Am so frustrated right now.
Am out of ideas and am starting to feel like Kyong will never notice me in this life.
I’ve totally lost him to a stranger whom I introduced myself.
I cried myself to sleep knowing I’ve failed.

Morning:
I woke up with kyong by my side and we had breakfast together.
I couldn’t take my mind off the suprise.
Am dying of curiosity!!
We entered the car and the driver drove us to who knows where but alarmingly, he st©pped us at an Airport.
I got down with kyong by my side.
“Kyong, what are we doing here? “I asked.
“Surri, I want us to be on our own for a month or two… Just for both of us. Am taking you to my pent house in USA.
“We’ll live together and stay together.
“Surri, will you marry me? “He asked.
My heart dropped like a missile.
Me? Marriage?
“I love you kyong, but don’t you think its kinda early to wed.? “I asked.
He smiled.
“Just say yes Surri. Our pri-vate jet awaits. “He said.
“But mom… ”
“Alre-ady taken care of. “He ch!pped in.
I smiled.
“Okay. I’ll marry you. “I said.
He smiled.
“Aren’t you gonna cry? “He asked like a baby.
“We’re not at a funeral mister. “I said taking his hand.

Kyong and Surri had their wedding four months later.
Surri was blessed with two girls and named them after her friends at the orphanage.
Oprah met man later on and got married. Though the two couple had a tough time un-derstanding each other, they still made peace and had two boys and a girl.
Mr Sam and mrs Jin never reunited but bec@m£ friends in their own way… What really transpired and let to their divorce is still a mystery.
