“Please, let’s rest for now ok?, I love you” Starr said.
“I love you more” she replied as he started stro-king her hair.
“What do you like most about me?” She suddenly asked.
“Everything, everything baby” he replied and she chuckled.
“Me too, I love all of you”
“I nee-d to tell you something” he said, car-essing her back.
“What?”
“Mum and Martin’s dad has been having a secret affair, they planned to dupe dad of all his fortunes and run away, they succeeded though but on their way to the airport, Martin caught up and…he caught them with fire, they’re burnt but still alive” he said.
“I’m strangely not surprised” Lotus said.
“Why?”
“Humans can be unpredictable so anything can happen anytime” she replied.
“She was the one who tried to kill me the other time, and she ab-orted my dad’s baby” he continued.
“She deserves to be cursed” she sighed.
“Martin cursed them, that’s why they’re not dying yet, they’ll live in pains for the rest of their lives, they’ll pay for all what they did to I and my dad, then what Mr Luther did to Martin and Mrs Luther, can’t believe he has been maltreating them and my friend has been taking it all with his mum”
“Martin is a strong prince, it’s painful that he won’t be able to stay forever in this world” she replied.
“I hope we’ll be together forever, me and you” he said.
“Same here, I wish” she replied.
“But how’s your dad doing?” She asked.
“He’s still in shock, but I’ll help him get over it” Starr inhaled.
“Noona!!” Jungkook shouted from outside and they both left the room after throwing on their clothes.
“The mansion is cracking!” He said, pointing at the visible cracks.
“My powers are really leaving Starr, they’re leaving, this house is the greatest thing I’ve ever created with my power so it’ll crumble surely” Lotus said.
“We should get out” Jungkook said.
“Of course” Lotus replied and held Starr.
They ran out with Jungkook and the mansion started crumbling after them.
When they got out of it, it crumbled completely in front of them and entered the ground after a short quake, then the piece of land came to view again.
“It’s gone” Lotus said weakly, holding her knees.
“Are you ok?” Starr asked, holding her.
“I’m losing my powers, I feel so…so weak…very weak, don’t let me fall” she replied, standing straight but she went down immediately.
Starr held her ti-ghtly.
“Noona!” Jungkook said fearfully.
“She’ll be fine, stop panicking” Starr replied, carrying her in a bridal style.
“Where are we going?” Jungkook asked.
“My place” Starr replied, walking down the road where he waved down a cab.
They got home and he dropped limp Lotus on his bed gently
“Is she fine?” Jungkook asked.
“Of course, trust me” Starr replied.
“I want her to be awake when the grim reaper will come for me” Jungkook replied.
“You got Justice already?”
“Yes, Ryan confessed his crime and he has been sent to juvenile this evening” Jungkook replied.
“I’m glad” Starr smiled.

NEXT DAY
Lotus sat up on the bed immediately she opened her eyes, Starr is right beside her and Jungkook is sitting on the chair, sleeping that way.
She made to call Starr but she couldn’t, her voice is gone and no matter how much she tried, she couldn’t speak.
When she tried more than required, she started coughing.
That woke Starr up and he quickly sat up
“Are you ok?” He asked , turning her face to himself.
“I lost my voice” she said in her mind.
“What!, Completely?” Starr said.
“Yes” she mind talked again.
Starr hu-gged her and started patting her gently.
“It’s ok, so far you can communicate with me throu-ghyour mind, I’m ok” he said.
“I don’t want to lose you, it seems real since it’s already happening” her mind replied.
“You won’t lose me, stop worrying and let’s get ready, we’re meeting my dad and we nee-d to go say bye to Bluey” he replied.

HOSPITAL
Bluey didn’t know when tears left his eyes as his time to leave came.
Tasha is crying inside but she’s pretending to be strong in the outside, not shedding a tear.
“I’m gonna miss you a lot” Bluey cried.
“Me too, black rice ” she replied and he smiled despite his tears.
“You’re the best girl I’ve ever met….trust me” he said
“You too” she smiled, touching his face.
“Bluey you have to go now” Primrose said from the door.
Bluey ki-ssed her lightly on the li-ps before hu-gging her.
“How long will you take?” She asked.
“Months, it won’t be up to a year” he replied.
“I’ll be waiting” she said.
“I’ll come back” he replied, breaking the hu-g before stepping away.
“Bye” he waved.
“Bye” she replied and he left completely.
Tasha started her tears and Mrs Luther had to start consoling her.
Telling her that she’s her mum won’t definitely sound well in this type of situation so she’s waiting for the perfect timing.
“Stop crying, he’ll be back” she said, patting her.
Bluey met Starr in front of the hospital with Lotus and Martin.
“Starr!” He almost screamed, hu-gging him ti-ght.
“Get off, who said you could leave suddenly” Starr replied sadly.
“I’m sorry, I just can’t stay here and allow that mad man to control me” Bluey replied and Starr broke the hu-g.
“Can’t believe I’m missing you already” he said.
“Me too” Bluey smiled and they hu-gged again.
“Weird prince” he said when he hu-gged Martin.
“Do well in California” Martin replied and Bluey nodded then he faced Lotus.
“Cute girlfriend” he said, wanting to hu-g her but Starr stopped him.
“hu-g me again instead ok?” He said and Bluey smiled.
“You don’t have anything to say to me?” He asked but Lotus just looked on, unable to speak.
“What’s going on?” Bluey said.
“I’ll explain everything to you in a text once you land in California, don’t miss your flight” Starr replied, pushing Bluey into the car.
Lotus waved as the car drove off and ad if planned, the grim reaper appeared.
Jungkook looked at Lotus then at Starr.
“Grim reaper is here” Martin said.
“Jungkook” Starr said sadly.
“Don’t miss me too much ok?” Jungkook said.
“Who’ll miss you?, You know we hate each other right?” Jungkook replied.
“Yes we do” Starr replied and hu-gged him.
“Noona” he looked up at Lotus and Lotus squ-atted.
“Please stay well and alive, protect your soulmate because….I sense danger… today” he said seriously.
“I smell danger too” Martin said.
Starr got scared immediately.
Jungkook whispered some things into Lotus’s ear and she hu-gged him immediately
They hu-gged for long before she let him go and he slowly walked to the grim reaper.
“Bye noona” he waved as he got to him.
Lotus waved sadly, wiping her tears.
He was still waving when he vanished together with the grim reaper.
“What next?” Starr asked.
“I’m not going to school, I nee-d to stay around you both” Martin replied.
“Then we should go see my dad at the hospital” Starr said, taking Lotus’s hand.
He led them to the car and they drove to the university hospital but surprisingly, the girls are waiting except Yolanda.
“Rhythm, Constance” Martin said.
“You girls aren’t going to school?” Starr asked.
“No, school won’t be fun with none of you guys around, Yolanda left for America this morning too” Constance replied.
“Why?, Why did she suddenly go?” Martin asked.
“Alec was only playing her, it was a plan with Enolla and Ophelia” Rhythm replied.
“What the hell!, That je-rk” Starr said loudly.
“She said she nee-ds to change environment and forget about him, we only heard about it this morning too, she was so broken” Constance replied.
“And why is Lotus not talking?” Rhythm said, holding her.
“Is it because you’re still mad at me for my sudden change?, I’m ready to beg for forgiveness on my knees, I’m sorry” she said but Lotus still didn’t speak.
“Girls, she has a bad sore throat so speaking is impossible right now” Martin said.
“Gosh!, That baby voice, so sorry girlfriend” Constance said, holding her second hand.
They went in together and Davis smiled when he saw them.
“How’re you doing dad?” Starr asked, hu-gging him.
“I can’t be more better” he replied and Starr smiled.
Davis looked at Lotus.
“It’s definitely her… right?” He asked and Starr nodded shyly.
“She’s really cute” he said.
“She’s having a bad sore throat so speaking is impossible right now, I hope you un-derstand” Starr said.
“Oh dear, sorry about that, but we’ll get to know each other better as time goes by” Davis smiled.
Lotus nodded, smiling prettily.
“Do you wanna stroll the hospital?” Constance asked, holding Lotus.
Lotus nodded and followed the both of them out of the ward but immediately they stepped out, a strong whirlwind came, taking Lotus away from them.
“Lotus!!” They both screamed as Lotus disappeared without a trace.
Martin ran out of the ward with Starr and smi-rked when he saw traces of water on the ground.
“An evil mermaid” he said.
“Her sis from Quenshi?, She made her leave the river, why can’t she just leave her alone and where the hell did she take my girlfriend to!” Starr said fearfully.
Constance and Rhythm are still busy searching everywhere.
“Let’s go” Martin said, holding Starr.
They both vanished.

A DESERTED AREA
Cleo landed with Lotus and laughed loudly first, retracting her wings.
“I’ve always wanted to kill you Lotus, but I thought maybe making you leave the river will make the cravings die but it didn’t, killing you is my greatest goal, and if your protector and darn soulmate tries to stop me, I’ll kill them too” she said, her eyes shinning yellow as black flames emanated from her body.
Lotus started shifting back as Cleo came closer.
“I came to earth because of you, and i found you easily, seems you lost your voice, sweet!” She laughed satisfactorily.
Lotus has a lot to say but it’s painful that she couldn’t speak.
“Killing you will make me calm, I nee-d it right now!, Your pure soul!” Cleo said and made to pour venom on her from her mouth but she fell away when fire hit her from nowhere.
Martin appeared with Starr and Starr quickly bent beside her.
“Are you ok?, Huh?” He asked, holding her face.
She nodded.
“Starr leave, leave far from here, don’t stay” her mind said.
“I won’t leave ok?, I won’t, never” he replied.
“Starr it’s dangerous to…
“I don’t care, I just want to stay with you till the end, even if this is the end then I’ll end with you” he replied with determination.
Cleo put out the fire on her body magically with water before standing.
“Prince of seven fires?, Thought you died” she smi-rked.
“I was reborn, to make you extinct” he replied, ru-b-bing his palms together.
He threw a fire marble at her but she threw a splash of water, it quenched the fire.
“Your fire can do nothing to me, if you just p@$$ and allow me to kill Lotus, then I’ll spare you” she grinned.
“I should be talking about sparing you but even if i get the chance to do that, I won’t spare you….witch!” Martin replied stubbornly and went for her again, hiding between the flames till he got to her.
Cleo found her between the flames and her li-ps turned black as she tried to poison him but he grabbed her hand and vomited fire from his mouth at it.
The hand started burning and Cleo had to struggle before she could put it out though her hand got burnt badly.
“I’m scared” Lotus mind talked.
“Don’t be scared, I’m right here” Starr replied.
Cleo got angry and her nails grew long, she moved with the wind to Martin.
Martin surrounded himself with fire but she surrounded herself with water, entering the fire.
She wounded him with her nails, injecting poison in the process.
Martin fell on the ground and black blood escaped his mouth, staining his li-ps .
“I’ll kill you” Cleo said as he vomited more blood.
“Martin!” Starr called.
Cleo started coming for Lotus again and Starr covered her.
Martin wiped his li-ps and called for the sword of fire, it appeared and he rolled in the air twice before throwing it at Cleo.
It hit Cleo in the arm and she stopped.
“Arrggghhhhhhhh!!!!” She screamed in agony, shedding blood.
Her screams shook the earth and Starr got scared.
She removed the sword but it hurt her palm so she threw it down as fire kept burning in her arm.
She kept shedding bloody tears as Martin started coming closer.
He picked the sword and raised it to slash her but Cleo shone dangerous yellow lights with her eyes, it made him fall and the sword fell from him.
Despite the fact that it hurts to hold it, Cleo took the sword and threw it at him.
Knowing that it’s forbidden for the sword to hurt him, Martin rolled away from the sp-ot but it was useless because the sword kept following him..
“I’m your master!, Listen to me!” He shouted and the sword stopped moving.
He grabbed it and stood but all the time he spent rolling, Cleo was following him so immediately he stood, Cleo sent him legs poison which he couldn’t avoid.
It hit his legs and it became unmovable, he couldn’t move his legs no matter how ha-rd he tried.
Cleo grinned and faced Lotus again.
“Now your turn” she said and pointed out her long tongue, it reached her fingers, transferring poison there.
She ru-bbed her fingers together and released black flames.
“No!!!!!” Martin shouted, he finally was able to free his legs
He started running to them as the black flames started going to Lotus.
“The most poisonous flame in the world of witches, dingga” Lotus said, shedding tears as the flames came closer and closer.
Martin kept running but he wasn’t able to meet up.
The flames reached them and Lotus closed her eyes, expecting to die any minute but nothing happened.
“Starr!!!” Martin shouted, stopping on his tracks.
Lotus opened her eyes and saw Starr vomiting blood already, from his nose and mouth, dark black blood.
He actually took it.
“Starr!!!!!!” She screamed, crying immediately.
The flame was so poisonous that he stopped breathing immediately, life left him.
Cleo started creating another flame to throw at Lotus but Martin grabbed her with tears in his eyes, they both started floating, he trapped her in-between so she couldn’t move.
Rivera appeared with Samshin.
“What are you doing!” Rivera said.
“The only way to make her go into extinction is if I go with her, it’ll be difficult to send her alone” he replied, holding her ti-ghter as she kept trying to break free.
“You’ll go into extinction with her?” Samshin asked.
“I promised to protect them both, but she killed Starr already, if I let her go then she’ll kill Lotus too, I nee-d to do this” he cried
The two deities relented.
“I’ll go into the shintamani fire with her, if dying with her is the only way to make her die, then I’ll readily die for my friend and the girl I love” he replied.
“Martin…’ Lotus whispered.
He looked down at her.
“Goodbye, forgive me for not saving your soulmate” he replied and at the speed of light, he vanished with Cleo.
Lotus continued crying with Starr’s body on her lap-s.
“The curse of the healers caught up with him, her fate of dying in the hands of Cleo changed despite choosing Starr, why?” Rivera asked.
“Sarang(love)” Samshin smiled.
Lotus remembered what Jungkook told her and decided to use it.
“ki-ss the blood and save him”
She bent over Starr’s body and ki-ssed his bloody li-ps.
Immediately the poisoned blood stained her li-ps, she lost her immortal body and became old suddenly.
Her hair turned white and her face became old and wrinkled, same with her body.
Starr opened his eyes and his eyes wide-ned when he saw her.
“Sarang” Samshin said, closing her eyes.
“Princess Lotus” Rivera whispered pitifully
“Lotus!” Starr shouted, holding her old wrinkled face.
“What happened to….what happened to..you?”
“Don’t forget me” Lotus finally talked as tears made their way out of her eyes.
“I love you soulmate” she whispered and closed her eyes.
Right in front of Starr, she transformed into water, flooding away.
“Lotus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
