“Lotus say something .. ” Yolanda whispered and Lotus kept staring at them in confusion.
“Lotus” Constance whispered again.
Lotus suddenly grabbe-d their hands at a time.
“Let’s go for the walk together, the three of us” she said cheerfully.
Martin looked at Starr immediately and their eyes met but they quickly looked away.
“Girlfriends I’ll see you guys later” Lotus said and left with the boys.
They got to the school yard the three started staring at each other.
“What if we do something more fun than strolling?” Martin said.
“What should we do?” Lotus asked.
“Handball?” Starr suggested, giving his lower li-p a slight bite.
“What’s handball?” Lotus asked.
“You know nothing do you?” Martin said and she hit him.
“Ouch!, Bully!” he said and she stick her tongue at him.
“We’ll just throw ball at each other, simple, the first one to let it fall loses” Starr explained.
“Ok fine, where’s the ball?” She asked.
“You mean you’re gonna pla-y with your uniform?, Silly you come here” Martin said and pulled her towards the locker room.
Starr only followed behind.
Martin pushed Lotus into the female room .
“Get changed and come out!” He shouted before facing Starr.
They started staring at each other blankly for so long but they both suddenly laughed out loud.
“Foolish boy, get in!” Starr said, pushing Martin into the boys room.
He got in with him and they both got changed into the sports wear.
Lotus luckily got the logic, the number of your locker in cl@$$ is same as your locker number here.
She luckily found her number quickly and opened it.
Right there is blue hoodie and black short ti-ghts then black converse.
“Gosh!, I love blue!” She said, taking them.
She changed into the sports wear and checked herself out in the mirror.
“Do I look good?” She asked herself.
“Of course!” She replied and left the room, meeting the two boys outside already.
They both stared like they’re just seeing her for the first time.
Normally, black bo-dy socks goes with the school uniform but this time no socks, her fresh legs revealed and the way the ti-ghts hu-gged her thi-ghs was illegal.
“Hey I’m done guys!” She smiled, bringing them out of their reverie.
“But your hair” Starr said and quickly turned her back, he swept her hair up in a ponytail, his palms almost couldn’t contain it all, it’s much.
Martin watched silently but jealously.
“Have a band?” Starr asked and Lotus magically made it appear on her palm secretly.
She gave him the blue band and he tied her hair with it.
“Done” he said and she faced him.
Her full edges is a killer and the smile she gave after that…it’s crazy.
“Thanks…we can go now I guess!” She said skipping her way out of the place.
Surprisingly, the school yard is full of students already.
“So you guys came first without me!” Bluey jumped on Starr.
“What’s going on?, No sports in the timetable today so why am I seeing all the se-nior students here?” Martin asked.
“We’re on free period from now till 12, it shouldn’t go to waste so we decided to do sports, nee-d to go change!” Bluey winked and entered.
“Plans ruined” Starr said.
Constance, Rhythm and Yolanda appeared.
“The sports wear was made for you seriously, you look Fu-cking Se-xy ” Yolanda said.
“What’s Se-xy ” Lotus replied.
“It means you’re hot…” Starr said.
“Hot” Martin said.
“What’s hot?, Like hot noodles?” She replied
“Ok fine, you look irresistible” Starr said and she smiled.
Soon, everyone changed already and they spr-ead on the yard, girls in a different angle, boys in a different angle.
The boys pla-yed football while the girls pla-yed handball.
“We’re spr-eading in a circle” Ophelia said, picking the ball.
The girls are like twenty so they all spr-ead in a circle.
Ophelia bounced the ball on the ground before throwing it to Constance, it went from Constance to Yolanda then to Rhythm, then Lotus.
Lotus smiled and pressed the ball, wondering what’s inside it before throwing it to Ophelia with all her strength.
“Lotus that’s not how to!…” Yolanda shouted.
The ball went all the way to Ophelia and hit her face badly, se-nding her to the ground.
“Ophelia!” Lilac and Floyd called out at a time, rushing to her.
Her nose was already bleeding and red.
“Why did you throw it that ha-rd?” Constance asked Lotus who’s already feeling guilty.
“I never knew it’s not done that way….I’m sorry” she replied .
All the girls surrounded Ophelia whose nose is still bleeding and some are already giving hate comments about Lotus already.
“Ophelia sorry, are you ok?” Yolanda asked.
“Does it look like I’m ok?, She tampered with my pretty face!* Ophelia yelled.
Lotus appeared and bent in front of her.
“I’m so sorry….I never knew it’s not done that way” she said, trying to touch her face but Ophelia pushed her and she fell.
“I hate you!!!!” She shouted, coming over her.
Lotus struggled un-der her hold as Ophelia started punching her face angrily.
“O-phe-lia!”
“O-phe-lia!”
The girls chanted.
Yolanda and the girls made to step in but Lotus suddenly held Ophelia’s hand, tossing her.
She sat on Ophelia instead and the girls stopped chanting.
Lotus raised her fist high with the aim of punching Ophelia on the nose and make her ugly but she stopped.
Everyone held their breaths and Ophelia closed her eyes, expecting the hit but it never came.
Lotus dropped her fist, changing her mind.
The guys rushed into the circle and Starr quickly pulled Lotus up.
Her hairband fell already so her long hair fell on her wa-ist, some covered her face.
Her li-ps got wounded as a result of Ophelia’s punches.
“Oh no” Starr said, taking the strands of hair away from her face to take a closer look.
“Starr it’s not what you think, she hit the ball on my face intentionally and….” Ophelia tried to exonerate herself.
Starr pulled Lotus out of the circle before she could finish and and Martin watched them till they’re out of sight.
He saw Lotus’s hairband on the ground and picked it.
Ophelia was helped up and Constance stepped in with the others.
“She said sorry, but you resorted to violence, what if I report you to Mr Roger or the principal” she said.
Ophelia breathed defiantly.
“I wish she punched you, crazy bi-tch ” Yolanda said.
“Try that some other time, I’m sure you’ll lose your face, jelly fish” Rhythm said and the three of them left the circle too.
Ophelia made to leave but Bluey and Martin blocked her.
“What?” She rolled eyes.
“The next time you try this, I’ll personally punch you back” Martin said seriously.
“Another Lotus defender?” She said hatefully.
“Your behavior really su-cks, I won’t mind joining Martin to beat you the next time this happens, if you’re jealous of her then go jump in a river or something” Bluey said and left with Martin too.
Ophelia wiped the blood on her nose .
“Why is everyone defending her, she’s not some goddess anyways” she said.
“Let’s get your face treated” Lilac suggested.
She kept breathing angrily.
“Ophelia you nee-d to get your face treated” Floyd said.
“Of course, I should get my pretty face treated” she smiled, happy that she made Lotus’s li-ps burst
“Miss Stacy doesn’t like when wounded people sing, I own the singing depa-rtment again” she said, looking at her fist.
“Good job baby” she said, ki-ssing it but suddenly it started hurting.
“Ouch!” She mo-aned painfully.
“It must hurt as a result of how you punched her with it, sorry baby” Lilac said.
“It’s as if it’s on fire, my hand!, Take me to the clinic please! The clinic!” She shouted in pains and her dogs supported her , leading the way to the clinic.

CLINIC**
Starr left Lotus in an empty ward and went to the sto-re room, looking for anything to treat the wound with.
If any nurse or doctor sees it, it’ll become known that a fight happened and they might report to the principal
Mrs Mackinaw is strict when it comes to fights, suspension might be her next action and that’s what he’s avoiding.
Lotus sat quietly in the ward, the wound is not that big and it’s something she can heal with her powers but he’ll get suspicious if the wound disappears suddenly so she just had to wait.
He came back some minutes later with buds and a liquid in a container.
“You got it” she smiled.
“Yes, once I apply this, it’ll dry up within two days, just endure cos it might sting” he replied, sitting beside her.
He tou-ched the liquid with the bud and held her face, he started touching the wound with the we-t bud gently.
“Why didn’t you punch her back?, You almost did” He asked but she didn’t answer.
Immediately his palm tou-ched her face earlier, she felt the sparks just like she did during their first contact but this time, in a different way.
The hair on every hole on her bo-dy stood and her bo-dy started heating up, she got greatly arou-sedand her heartbeats came fas-ter than usual.
Her bo-dy started demanding for more of him, more touch…. more contact.
“WHEN YOU FIND YOUR SOULMATE, IT WON’T TAKE LONG BEFORE YOU RECOGNIZE HIM, THE FEELINGS WILL ALMOST MAKE YOU WANT TO DO CRAZY THINGS TO HIM IMMEDIATELY, ESPECIALLY WHEN A CLOSE CONTACT HAPPENS…YOU MIGHT LOSE CONTROL IF YOU’RE NOT VERY STRONG”
The prophecy rang in her ears and she pushed Starr away from herself, shocking him.
“MY SOULMATE IS A HUMAN” she thought.
“Lotus why….
“Don’t come closer!” She shouted, her bo-dy still getting arou-sed, heat pulsating throu-ghher bo-dy, right now she feels like jumping into a pool and transform then swim crazily.
Despite her warning, Starr still kept coming closer.
“Don’t come!, Don’t!” She said, her eyes started producing the blue light on their own.
Starr’s eyes wide-ned and he stopped as her eyes continued shinning.
“Your eyes..” he said…
She leaned on the wall closely.
“Starr!, Lotus!, Which ward are you guys in!” They heard Constance voice from outside but Lotus’s eyes is still shinning blue.
The ward door opened and Starr rushed to Lotus.
He pulled her from the wall and hu-gged her face to his che-st ti-ghtly.
Martin came in with the others and he held her hairband ti-ght, seeing Starr hu-gging her that way.
