I closed my eyes and held on to him ti-ghtly while i felt his gentle hands against my hair as he stro-ke them tenderly. “Do you trust me? ” he asked and i nodded slowly.
“I don’t think so wifey. I want you trust me whole heartedly and believe your family is in a safe place where no one can t©uçh em.”he heaved a sigh and i buff out hair and opened my eyes.
I do trust him and i wanna face my fear once and for all and tell him everything and how i felt.
“October 12th 2014. The day of the tragic event which took place in the ken’s mansion where i was a cook so were twenty other maids.
I was the closest to your family , your mom Jasmine Ken a beautiful and outstanding woman who always protect the interest of the general public and treated everyone as family. On that faithful day I’d make dinner for the whole family including a guest of the family.”
“Wait did you say guest?” He asked curiously and u shook my head.
“Yeah a guest, her name was Isadora Jay Ken.” I spoke and his hands formed a fieist.
“That’s no way that’s true, Isadora was my aunt and had been dead for a long time.are you sure about that?” He asked and i shook my head.
“She told your family about the terrible accident she’d that almost took her life. She wanted her share of the family property but got disappointed when Sir jade Ken told her the property were all willed to your younger siblings but that wasn’t the whole story for the properties were actually willed to you. She didn’t accept the fact that her brother didn’t wanna let her have her share of the property. She got furious and envious too.” I paused and glance at him. I could feel the kinda pain he was going throu-gh at the moment.
“That night she tricked me and knocked me out and placed me at the servant quarters but she wasn’t smart enough i got out. She went over to the kitchen and cut off the g@s pipes and the building exploded with your family in it. She wasn’t lucky either for she got affected by the explosion, she went for a plastic surgery and changed everything about her reasons why you couldn’t recognize her…two months after the terrible incident i was traumatized and stayed in the hospital, she found me and threatened to take out my family if i ever speak of what i saw. Out of fear of loosing the only thing that mattered to me i agreed and never spoke a word to anyone.”i blinked and let the tears roll down my cheeks.
“I’m sorry you’d to go throu-gh the pain of loosing the ones you love.” I sobbe-d and i felt him heaved a sigh.
“Hey its okay i un-derstand, st©p crying will you?” He faked a smile as he was tryna stay calm where as he wasn’t. His heart was burning with so much anger and pain.
“I can’t st©p when i know how hurt you were. I was so selfish and couldn’t bring myself to tell you. I’m sorry plea-se forgive me.” She cried more.
“SSH its okay i forgive you okay? But first i nee-d to know Isadora’s new identity, i nee-d to hunt her down.” He says in between gritted teeth.

All this while i was struggling in then dark and wanted revenge but a few weeks ago i got to un-derstand something , love was greater than any f0rç£ no matter what.
“Hey listen to me okay? I’m here for you and i promise you your family is safe.” I as-sured and planted a k!sson her forehead.
“Isadora is Halsey and I’m your betrothed.” She announced and i looked at her in shock.
“I don’t un-derstand.”
” am sorry i didn’t tell you the whole story. I wasn’t just working at the mansion i was like family to your parents , you mother had me betrothed to you while you were away, i never knew you and spoken to you. I had high hopes that you were gonna come home soon too bad you c@m£ home to a nightmare and i never got to know you, when we met at the mall i never imagined it to be you for i only saw your baby pictures so i couldn’t recognize you .am sorry i didn’t tell you earlier.” She said and i heaved a sigh.
This was complicated than i thought.
Mom had told me about the girl i was betrothed to. For some reasons i was against it, it’s funny how fate was taking a turn on our lives.
“Look at me Tia.” I whispered and she did but her eyes had been clouded with tears.
“We gonna take them down for hurting the ones that mattered to us only this time we gonna do it the right way and also together.” I said and entwined our f!ngers.
“Thank you.” She mumbled and closed her eyes. I dug my f!ngersin her hair and mas-saged it abit.
“plea-se get me a glas-s of water.” I spoke into the intercom and let go off it.
A knock landed on my door shortly and i got outta and wore a bathrobe over my b©dy before walking towards the door.
Got the glas-s water and went back to the be-dside drawer.
Thinking about how my parents died only brou-ght back my phobia. To think Isadora was behind this only made my blood boil. I was so stupid to let her sl!poff my f!ngers.
I used to think of her as the best aunt in the world, turns out she had fooled me.
For years i thought Isadora had died in the states.
“Are you sure you’re alright you look disturbe-d.” Tia’s voice broke into my thoughts and i smiled.
“Its nothing okay I’m thirsty.” I said and gulp down the glas-s of water i was holding.

Argh!!! I gr0@nangrily throwing things away. That stupid girl is gonna make my plan fail terribly. I’m so close to achieving what I’ve always worked for.
Think Dora think you have to do something fast else your plan will crumble. Thanks to me Tia is g@y so I’ve nothing to worry about she falling in love with him else I’ve failed miserably.
Tried reaching her but then my calls keep getting intercepted ma-king it ha-rd for me to know the statics.
I’ll keep trying else I’ll have to implement phase two Of my plan.
They can’t get rid of me just yet.

I pouts cutely in my sleep as i felt something warm and soft pressed against my forehead.
“Good morning my love.” His voice c@m£ ringing in my ear i wanted to keep hearing his voice every single time.
“Morning.” I mumbled with my eyes closed. Wanted to sleep more.
“Come on Babe its morning alre-ady besides we are going somewhere today.” He said and i opened my eyes immediately.
“Really ? Where are we going? ” i muttered and i chuckled.
“I’m sorry baby but its a surprise and won’t wanna ruin this beautiful surprise okay? .” he smiled and pe-cked myl-ips briefly and i nodded.
“Okay 😊 i trust you.” I trailed my f!ngerson his ba-re che-st and planted a k!sson em. Up to his peak and bite them tea-singly ma-king him growl like a wounded lion.
“Now you got my attention.” He giggled and turned me over in one swift move i was un-der him.
I chuckled as he pla-yed with my night Robe while planting k!sses all over my b©dy ma-king me m0@n in excitement.
I wanted more of him every single time.
“I love you Tia.” He whispered into my ear b!tt!g my ear lobe pla-yfully ma-king me shiver in plea-sure.

“Shall we?” He said and i flashed him a smile and together we walked towards the entrance of the mansion.
The servants bow in respect while we walked in.
The first person i saw made tears roll down my cheeks she sat down there with her new friends catching up that she ba-rely noticed i was standing there.
She never had friends ever.
